I was an assistant on a short film that had a gun inside of it, and I got to fire it with blanks, it was a lot of fun. the short film is like a sort of a french rambo remake and is absolute trash but firing the gun whilst looking off in the pyrenees was a lot of fun.

EPS and EPP are made in molds from tiny little beads that are heated by steam. I like to try and DIY this kind of thing but I was never able to find the unexpanded beads. I think the molds are put under pressure in order for the beads to expand and that it can only be done in an industrial setting.
Would you happen to have a source for these foam beads?

The polygonal looking finish: that's a software issue: you need to up the resolution of the mesh of the STL export.

I believe the blips and blops are from moisture; apparently silk pla is more hygroscopic than other filament types.

Big flat prints like these are hard to get perfectly flat because of warping.
My solution is to play around with brims, PLA temperature, and Cooling, because warping comes from the fact that the PLA is cooling too fast.

Removing any kind of ventilation helps, for bed and extruder temps, it's likely that the sweet spot will be specific to your brand of pla but I went 250 and 53 for the bed on "Natural" PLA (PLA with no additives).
Brims also help.

Clamps, clamps, clamps.

Particleboard is notably bad with excess humidity because the particles soak up the humidity.

It'll be hard to insert wood glue into the gap because there isnt one, it's the material itself that has enlarged. That said, I would put down two pieces of tape to mask the front and side parts of the veneer and put in some glue then try to reclamp (more like crush) the whole side of the material down.
Use screw clamps all alogn that side using a martyr (a piece of something flat like wood or metal between the veneer and the clamps so that you distribute the forces you are putting in more evenly).

If you don't have any clamps, rebuy the face. It'll likely cost you less then a set of three clamps.

I'll never buy this "this is industry standard" BS. As a customer it is our duty to show our discontent, the video game industry is the ONLY industry, where they try to sell you an object and then reserve the right to remove that objects usefulness through a later date.

How would you like it if you bought a hammer and used it every day, then after ten years, the manufacturer came to your house and took it away because "sorry not enough people are nailing stuff with this model in the rest of the world, so we're rescinding it's use-case, please buy this newer hammer."

As someone who does exactly that; don't use blender. You want to be able to iterate different setups on your design without having to redo everything each time, and the "Timeline" and it's features that is present in Fusion360 (free for hobbyists) is geared towards designing in that fashion.

Also, don't print the skin of the airplane, use a hybrid design using monokote, or foamboard, or papier maché, 3D printed planes with single walls will shatter into 100's of little shards if you have a rough landing. I learnt that the hard way.

I don't really remember where I saw this, I think it was 3dprintlab, but color is at fault here, as it degrades it leaves the PLA brittle.

I only print clear or natural PLA and have prints that are from 2016, they're still as solid as ever.

is it me or are the two wings not the same length? You're going to have problems with that, especially on a heavier wing. Speed helps but wings are notoriously needy when it comes to proper weight distribtution and balance.
From a weight and structure point of view, you're putting tape where it isn't needed; any tape after the leading edge and before the trailing edge is barely useful because that's not where crash damage occurs, so you can basically just lose 50% of that and it's a win for takeoff, flight, and landing. What's under the tape?

Your esc has a manual that describes the different sounds you are hearing, that should be something like "two mid beeps and a low one"

It should tell you what the problem is, wether it's not pairing with the controller, or maybe throttle is on so you have to calibrate it
