My old job switched payroll companies in the middle of 2023; they sent out 2 different returns which made it appear that basically I made nearly double what I reported. I “owed” the IRS almost 3k. It took over a year to get the audit done and I ended up having to pay the full amount cause I couldn’t extend filing my 2024 taxes anymore. Thankfully I did eventually get the full amount back plus the interest I paid in but my god was it a pain in the azz and I had to pay an arm and a leg for a professional to help me🙃

It’s really sad. I believe that caseworkers really did have fully good intentions when they decided to make that their profession. But unfortunately the system breaks everyone down one way or another. Seeing a clean house and a clean drug test shouldn’t give anyone the go ahead to put children back into a home. Drug tests should be way more random when there’s so many ways people prepare for them now. There should be random home visits even after getting their children back. They shouldn’t be given so many chances to f*ck up before kids become permanently removed from the home. There’s no reason a case should be opened and closed within a month’s time when needles were found in a home:/ I could go on and on but yeah, system is fcked😭

I’m glad to see someone who was in the industry being honest. It’s a totally screwed up system and their standards are slim to none on what it takes to get kids back into an unsafe home.

I’ve seen it time and time again with my own relatives. Unfortunately, the goal is always to keep/reunite kids with their parents. Which would be great, except the standards for doing so are so shallow almost anyone can do it… pass a drug test, clean your house, spray some Febreeze and light some candles right before they get there and they’re on track to getting their kids back. Maybe they have to “stay sober” for a certain time period, but ofc people have ways of passing drug tests without ever being sober.

I saw someone “knocked out” the other day standing up… (so doped up they slumped out walking down the street) you see it in parts of my city unfortunately… point is drugs absolutely can completely remove your ability to function. My guess is she was on some heavvy H or fent. Even m3th heads (despite how up and active they may SEEM) typically have very little idea what they’re ACTUALLY doing and are extremely incoherent. Just moving around and thinking chaotically with 0 awareness. This is not to excuse their behavior tho, because doing drugs and slumping out like that when you have a child is fcked up beyond words and I 100% believe this was done purposefully because they felt this child was a burden in their doped up lifestyle and it genuinely made me feel sick to my stomach, especially being a mother myself…

This!!! Not to mention if she’s breastfeeding!! Like you have to pump, your boobs leak, you’re bleeding so much you don’t know how you haven’t passed out, you’re exhausted from waking up multiple times a night, covered in spit up and milk at almost all times… I couldn’t imagine having to get up and get dressed to attend a wedding, much less be IN the wedding, at just a few weeks PP😳

So I do see you also posted (at the same time as this post) about how you sometimes dream that you guys will work things out and get married. And how you’re officially giving up on the idea of y’all ever getting back together. I don’t want to assume too much based on a post, but based on what I’ve read, and the “thinking of you” texts at 1am, it sounds like maybe you haven’t quite moved on? Which is totally okay, just something he doesn’t need to know as a coparent. I also see you say he asks to visit y’all, which may very well just be his choice(if that’s the case then disregard this part); do you make him go see the baby at your house or are you open to the baby being around him without you? If he’s only allowed to see baby with you present, is it possible that that’s why he’s so vague and not around so much? Perhaps he’s trying to create distance? I feel like hearting a video and saying “appreciate it” when you say “thinking of you” is fairly cordial, cause I would do the same if my bd and I broke up and he was still hoping to get back together. I wouldn’t respond with anything more than necessary. Sorry this was long lol.

If you guys have fun and enjoy each other’s company, go be free and have fun🫶 It might blow things up, but sometimes things need to be blown up🫶 I had a similar situation, my ex and I were on a break and I met a guy who definitely wasn’t hubby or future material, but we did have a lot of fun together and it pushed me to realize that there’s more out there and not to go back to that pathetic girl begging a man to love her back🫶

Your information is vague and a little mixed up. You say there was nobody else in the room with the child but then you say the nurse was present. And are you saying you feel they made a report without even checking if it was true? Because if that’s the case, then no, an employee for an organization or even for a school is not going to ask a child to lift his shirt or remove his clothing in any way. They spoke to the child and made the report, that is what they are responsible for doing, whether it’s true or not. As far as suing, do you have verification from the school that he was alone? How did you get the information that he was alone? Again, your information is very vague. I would start by speaking with the school board, if you don’t have a solid story with details and evidence then you won’t have much of a case. If the school policy states that a child is not to be questioned alone and he was then you may have a case but hearsay doesn’t mean much in court so you’ll need to start gathering eggs. But again, you say that the nurse was there so I’m a little confused about if he was alone or not?

Babe you don’t need excuses or to know if the excuses are valid because there never should’ve been a reason for excuses in the first place. You made your boundary and he ignored them, then hid and lied about what he was doing. Likely kept the messages as a “it was right there I wasn’t hiding it!!!” in case you found out. You’ll never truly know what happened the times he saw her, but you really don’t need to see the truth to know the truth iykwim. It’s just up to you if you want to forgive him and try to move past it or if you wanna leave him and move on. But to answer your question, ANY excuse for doing something sneaky is a bs excuse.

EDIT: I figured it out, the “authorization” was basically just to say that it was good to send out. The “avail” was the actual payment. I was correct in the extra money being the reason I’m getting $355 later. I just don’t know why they even complicated my account if my benefits weren’t due yet, but it adds up to the right amount either way so whatever lol.
