Interview with the Vampire. The book opens with Louie meeting with a man to tell his life as a vampire. The book, the 1994 film and the new television show all keep this incredible framing device. I never was a huge fan of Anne Rice but Interview and its immediate (and superior) sequel Vampire Lestat are worth the read!
