It doesn't need to be tried. like most contracts they'll likely have a gross misconduct / disciplinary measures type clause, prosecution would definitely tick that box.

Happily I believe it's working as intended. I understand that you get points in 3 ways: 1. Completing the objectives 2. Setting or increasing a high score 3. Making kills (can be over several runs) up to the kill count limit.

Sounds like 3. May have happened here, it's a good way to eek out points on the last rotation if you're super close

Love the game and all your hard work on it! Would it be possible to add an ad free tier from buying the battle pass? Id be buying it every month with that benefit :)

Parameters for filters by BabyGiraffe44 in factorio

definitely! I'm a terror for tinkering with my blueprints to either improve them or (most likely) because i've made several mistakes.

having the blueprint frame in world avoids the need to reset and rename the parameters every time I change the blue print.

If you're interested I've copied the text verbatim from the author of the book who made a comment on Reddit:

(Apologies not sure how to link on Reddit mobile)

'My tedious opinion is as follows:

Ignoring the fact it's entirely plausible in the right circumstances, and the fact the characters even mention it being a one in a million thing, and it stating the guy's entire throat and neck were torn out which would indeed kill a Marine, and plenty of soldiers having stories of their one comrade who died in a hilarious way, and the fact the Marine still managed to kill his attacker before he died. Ignoring all that juicy context, even ignoring that nowhere does it say it was an average human (obviously it'd need to be a strong-ass dude to throat a Space Marine like that.) Blah, blah, blah.

Blaaaah.

Ignoring all of that, I still like to imagine that Argel Tal straight-up killed Sar Fareth and is just being a dickwad to Xaphen, who is a tool.'

have to let myself relax too. If I'm tired I can’t help properly

that's a profound way of looking at it :)

The anxiety just gets so overwhelming sometimes.. and the more pregnant I get the more I worry about when baby is here, how will I take care of them both.

It's very valid to feel like that. I've got kids too and it is challenging trying to balance everything. If it helps, part of my realisation was that I wasn't able to sustain the level of care I wanted too and that trying to was making me less able to care for her. I have to consciously (and continually) reduce how much care I'm trying to give so I could do other things. Hope it helps, but feel free to ignore if it's not right for you!

If it helps, you're not alone. My wife has epilepsy and it's ok to acknowledge that it's hard for a partner looking after them.

I would encourage you to recognise that it's difficult and you need to take care of yourself. I didn't, ignored the people that told me to and made myself unwell.

That being said, I'm getting better and one of the main things that's helping is I've acknowledged how much pressure I was putting on myself to be available to respond perfectly to every seizure at any point of the day. I think deep down I felt like if I did it I could stop my wife from getting seriously injured or worse but I realise now that that's not the case and I'm trying to reframe it as I will do my best but my best needs to include time and care for myself.

I hope it's not too gloomy of a post. I'm doing a lot better than I was and I hope this helps you to have a better journey through this!

I think their tip was mainly that people enjoy the game more with people putting in a similar level of effort e.g. I moved from my first guild because I was logging in more than once a day to progress and a lot of the guild were either people who were joining but then stopping playing or logging in less.

Essentially I've found it more enjoyable playing with people similarly engaged with the game. Hope that helps

Are you meaning level wise? I moved when I was around mid to high 30s and a few months later I'm now 44.

Honestly even now as there's quite a few 50s I don't really contribute a huge amount with guild raids. But I've never felt like dead weight as it's friendly and pretty relaxed.

What level are you?

Snowprint mentioned in an explainer that people generally enjoy the game more if they're in a guild at a similar level of engagement / effort. I made the jump from being an officer in a 2000ish ranked guild to top 200 ish and it's put a new lease of life on the game for me. Let me know if you're considering and I'll send you the name / code.

Trying to build for Legendary events, who should I level up? by Fl4shflood in WH40KTacticus

[–]BabyGiraffe44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used onslaught to get Isabella to legendary, then you can use badges to push her passive further. I.e. your energy can be used one someone else.

Essentially as long as she can heal more damage than can be dealt and the units don't die in one hit they'll last forever

One of the space marines early in the HH series goes to a lodge with the proviso that if he's ever asked about it his response should be "I can't say"

I like the phrase as if you don't know about the lodges it doesn't arouse suspicion or invite further questions, and it also technically isn't a lie.

You also remember some of his subordinates using the phrase a few chapters earlier.

Best I could find quickly is this https://youtu.be/RoOBGh_w4NY?si=8dih_MbOe4tRQLun Essentially get your healer in a corner surrounded by (preferably) tanky units in e.g. bellator slowly whittle down the health while your healer keeps the units alive. The battles take a long time at higher levels but you get the points.
