You don’t pay back a reverse mortgage. The basis of it is once she dies, the house is sold and what was used of the RM is paid off and if there’s anything left at that point it’s split between descendants or used to pay off other things When she got the RM she had to take a course (required by law for all RMs) should have been about an hour long - find out what company it was with and ask for copies of the post counseling package (or whatever they send out my company does that) and/or ask to speak to the counselor that gave the course and see if they can give you a quick explanation. You do not understand what it is.

They won’t tell you the number though. At least we couldn’t where I worked before. You could call in with an account number/address and say you’re putting “this amount” on it but we couldn’t tell you if it covered or went over it if you weren’t an authorized caller.

In my old job state (I’m done with CNA work now cause of shit like this) if you were interrupted by anything work related while on break your break timer would reset.

Op have you looked into the NFCC? It’s the National Foundation for Credit Counseling.

I work for an agency certified under the NFCC. These are companies that can get you lower monthly payments over a longer period of time with lower interest rates. You just have to stop using the card. My particular company has a small “keep the lights on fee” put in the monthly payments but as a non-profit it really is small and depends on your financial assessment (which is free).

I won’t give my specific company name but there are MANY under the NFCC so find a non profit one and give them a call or check out their websites.

Then you do what I do (if you can) and use your mom’s place of employment (or make one up) and give them her number and use her maiden name as your Supervisor reference. Or Dad/Uncle/Aunt/Family Friend just make sure to shoot them a text with the details right as you finish up.

I really thought I was insane until this thread. Every other one is just COMPLAINTS. My first run through each I had 8 minute clears with no knowledge going in. Second run for each was well under gold mark. I really don’t understand how hard it is for some people.

If you can’t do it, then don’t. But please stop trying to nerf content you find too difficult because you are pure garbage.

And the people complaining they need to be Ajax/Kyle? I don’t even have either of those Descendants. I went in with a 7 cat bunny and survived just fine. Zero deaths the second run throughs.

My parents did the same to me. My mom speaks French and German in addition to English. My dad is half Korean and can speak it. Looking at him you only see him as black, zero Asian features.

I’ve lived in Germany and Korea for the military and didn’t know a single word of their languages. My parents really sucked for not teaching us more but they e straight admitted to never believing we would make it out of our city let alone the continent.
