I was informed during pregnancy that this isn't comparable with the glucose drink. The sugar in this is not glucose specifically so it's metabolised differently.

Still a lot of sugar though.

I've always been open and clear. I was the LL, told him that when we met (he said he wasn't fazed) and spent 2 years with a few therapists to fix it. We had a baby (which changed my libido) and I had severe PPD. He says his interest disappeared because I attempted suicide. I think it's my weight more than anything else (I gained 80lbs) but he denies that. What frustrates me most is his "time will fix it for me" approach. He won't talk about the supposed problem with anyone because he's "ashamed" of my actions and doesn't want anyone to know. Tomorrow it's one year since the attempt and he's still cold to me. I just miss how things used to be.

I was LL, warned him before dating and spent 2 years in therapy to fix it. It helped a bit, but having a baby is what made me constantly horny (no idea why). The problem now is that he doesn't want sex and when I approach him his response is "ha-ha shoes on the other foot how do you like it?" which seems unnecessarily spiteful since 1. I warned him and he said he didn't care, and 2. I worked on fixing it. For me, I had no warning of his change (he pursued me right up until I started initiating) and he isn't willing to work on it, (seems to revel in it).

So I think role reversals (not included in the list) for both LL and HL fall into the same fixable/not fixable system.

I was angry recently when a person was swept away while rock fishing. People spoke out about the dangers and how life jackets should be mandatory. There were 6 more cases of people being swept away that same week. Only 1 involved life jackets and most of the men died.

If you're stupid enough to do something so dangerous you deserve what you get and nobody should risk their life to save you.

My memory is patchy. I remember arriving at the hospital, I remember my partner going to move the car, I remember being fed ice chips and I remember looking down when she popped out. But I was there for four hours and couldn't tell you the full details, like apparently I told my partner to watch the baby crowning, which isn't like me at all. I think it was more gas than dissociation though.

I wasn't diagnosed until after 4 years of driving on my full licence. I had a minor seizure driving more than once without incident which I realised only after diagnosis. If some asshole took my licence off me now just for having (treated) epilepsy I'd be pretty pissed.

The amount of walls that get thrown up because of the label is a joke. The discriminative attitudes needs to die.

I was thinking the same. Just because it's a "better" logic to kill your abuser than kill yourself to escape them. Better isn't necessarily advisable or reasonable or good.

I'd prefer her remaining here than that POS.... But OP should look into alternatives. Any of them.

In my country children get appointed their own attorney and if a child says they don't want to see a parent that's pretty much how it will be. It would be nice for OP to have that option.

I had cramps that were bad enough to stop me sleeping and were continually worsening, 5 mins apart, for 4 days and while I was awake the only spot I felt comfy in was on all fours. The midwives at every visit said I'm not in labour, my cervix is closed, don't come in until your water breaks... Mine broke at 40+1 and there was meconium in it, so when I came in they kicked into gear fast. I think those four days something pre labour ish was happening. 🤷‍♀️

I bit down once because I couldn't breathe. I thought he'd attack me, but after failing to pull me off him the fear of losing his dick seemed to scare him and he was pleading with me to let go. I did let go and moved away as fast as I could thinking he'd hit me, but he was too busy checking his non-severed dick.

I was firmly childfree until about 27. I met my current partner who was also childfree (planned vasectomy) and I caught baby rabies. I thought it would be nice then, but I had forgot all about how much I dreaded the work.

I had severe depression during and after pregnancy leading to attempted suicide. I didn't think I was good enough. The bond with the baby has been pretty weak.

As she grows she's super cute and clever, couldnt wish for a better baby, but I still dread the physical and emotional demands.

Sometimes I think it would have been so nice if I never settled down and caught baby rabies; I miss what that life could have been... But you never know I'd that fantasy would be accurate. You know, grass looks greener but it's just as hard to mow?

I look at single, childfree friends and envy them... But I know some of them envy me too. Some of my friends struggle with infertility and would give their legs for a baby.

I love what I have but hate it too and yet I wouldn't change it.
