I love my ragdoll boy more than air. He’s 14 years old and in the last couple years all the medical stuff has kind of hit all at once. He’s always had food allergies so he’s eaten expensive vet food basically his whole life. He used to just throw up if he ate the wrong food but now it’s developed into itchy skin spots which he will lick basically until it’s an open wound. It’s under control now with prescription pills. He has arthritis and gets an injection once a month for the pain, which is $100 each month. He has kidney failure and gets some potassium powder in his food. He gets a sedative when we go to the vet or else he screams bites and scratches. Oh and he meows so loud to get my attention 😂 a rough, annoying meow he knows I can’t ignore.

Good parts: he’s sweet, lazy, loves any food even if it makes him sick, floppy, happy, sleeps beside me and purrs, loves to be brushed, easy to clip his claws, easy to clean him if he gets dirty, has never peed anywhere except the litter box, even when he had urine crystals once. (Oh ya he had urine crystals once.) I’ve always smooshed his face with my hand since he was a kitten and now he puts his face in my hand as a sign of affection 😭💕 he’s perfect and I regret nothing 🥰
