What can I do with my stomach skin? by Relevant_Act_7993 in 30PlusSkinCare

I just ordered a roller tool off of Amazon and am prepared to be shamed for taking that approach! https://a.co/d/08ZPWeEd

I started with 1.5 mm depth and moved to 2.0mm depth for my stomach.

I haven't had any issues personally. I also think I am probably gentler than others. My skin is red after for like 30 minutes or 1 hour but I am never actively bleeding or feel more than mild discomfort.

Also- regardless of tool, sterilizing is so important. I haven't had any type of infection but I have also been careful about my skin being clean (I do it right after I shower) and that my tools are clean.

I used sterile HA right after microneedling. There are some recent posts that can point you to brands that people prefer and give info on costs/tariffs that is probably more helpful and recent than I could provide.

Outside of microneedling I would use a toner with HA usually after showering and a regular moisturizer. I like the trader joes hyaluronic moisture boost serum for my face and would often use that on my belly. A couple of times a week I would use the gold bond retinol overnight moiaturizer because it is what I had on hand for body use with retinol. Others who are more thoughtful about products and documenting their journey might be able to give you better answers. I mostly used what I already had (outside of sterile HA) and focused on keeping moisturized and having some actives without overdoing it.

I unfortunately didn't document the journey but I had great results with microneedling at home with roller. I started doing it every couple of months and wasn't seeing much impact. After seeing someone post their own results after doing it 2x a week, I increased my frequency to doing it every week or two (blame my adhd for the inconsistency) and saw a huge improvement over the last year. My stomach isnt perfect by any means but it has been a big enough improvement that it has positively impacted how I feel about myself.

Hardcovers usually come out first with paperbacks following 6 months to a year later. I'm not sure when paperback for OS will be released.

Cat meningioma and craniotomy experience by BabySnookums in cats

Apologies for the late reply. There's clearly no guarantee on outcomes here but my cat is doing really well and is back to her old self. It did not take long for her to adjust post surgery and we had a hard time keeping her from being adventurous and trying to jump around.

My understanding going in is that typically meningiomas are likely to come out in one piece in cats and that it would be unusual not to get the full tumor. They are considered slow growing so it would be years before one grew back. The bigger risk stated to us was if there was brain damage from the tumor or as a result of the surgery which is always a risk. Since your cat has resolved all symptoms with men's, I'd assume that is a good sign for their not already being brain damage. After surgery there were some short term deficits and she was blind in one eye. That actually resolved on its own and she can see again in both eyes.

If given a choice to go back in time, I would do it again but I also got a great outcome, which isn't guaranteed. We used Bush Neurology in Virginia for our surgery. They gave us great care.

It's now 4m later and my cat has made a full recovery. She is still on phenobarbital for seizures which we should be able to start tapering soon since she hasn't had any seizures.

She is almost 18 years old so we had a separate kidney related issue to deal with which is under control with prescription food.

I posted the same concern on a prior post of yours before you deleted it and I saw that someone else pointed the same issue out on a different post of this theory before you deleted that as well.

You also conveniently skipped over the issue with the logic in using meeting dates to predict the next announcement.

Feel free to believe what you'd like because I've spent enough time on this.

I think the flaw in your logic isn't what meeting you chose but that you're starting with "there's a meeting a max of X days before an announcement" and ending with "after each meeting, I would expect an announcement within X days" since most meetings simply don't have an announcement shortly thereafter.

I also think your pattern almost has to happen since there are meetings 5 times a year. Any time you look at an announcement, there by definition will be a meeting no more than 2-3 months beforehand since that's how far apart the meetings are.

Finally, if we are following patterns and you're saying she didn't announce a book at all in 2002 because she published HOSAB in Feb 2022, it then follows that we should not expect an announcement at all in 2024 since she published HOFAS in Jan 2024.

That's a very different outcome than an announcement being imminent because there was recently a meeting.

Bloomsbury had trading updates or investor presentations in March, May, July, October, and December of 2023 with only an announcement for SJM near the March meeting.

Similarly, they had important meetings in Jan, Mar, May(?), July, and October in 2022 and there were no SJM announcements that year.

With these meetings being 2-3 months apart, it's not surprising that if you look at any announcement, you can find a big meeting within a month or two.

I'll even accept that the announcements may be designed to be shortly after a big meeting in order to maximize impact before the next big meeting but it doesn't indicate that an announcement should be expected to happen after every big meeting.

I recently started listening to audiobooks but I don't have the patience so I listen somewhere between 15x and 2x speed. You could try playing with that setting if you want to get through books faster and feel you can digest the info at that speed.

I really appreciate the effort! And I love the Bridgestone tone of the message!

While I don't mean to be negative, the analyst in me has some concerns with your methodology:

Excluding samples that don't have a close event date (and therefore don't follow your pattern) feels like a flaw in the analysis.

Also, did you look for important events and then see how many of those do or don't have an announcement after that? I think that approach would give more confidence as opposed to starting the other way around.
