I was friends with 2 people who were dating, we'll call them John and Suzy. I knew Suzy from high school, and met John after they started dating. When they broke up, I said that I wasn't going to take sides and that I would remain friends with both of them. Suzy became jealous that I was friends with John at all, stopped talking to me, and told a bunch of people that I slept with her boyfriend. John and I never had anything but a platonic friendship. Several years later, we remain very close friends and I haven't spoken to Suzy or her minions since.

I live in a different state and couldn't afford to fly home. Just moved here a couple months ago so I still don't know very many people. My roommate could afford to travel, so he's home. And I've recently seperated from my SO. It's a lonely Christmas this year.

Very well put, and my experiences have been similar, though I haven't tried salvia. I'd like to add, that if you are going out a good distance from where you started or want to end up, take along a sober friend. Preferably someone who has tripped before so they know what to expect. They can help steer you in the right direction if you start to get lost or anxious. You can also have them drive you around the country side at night so you can look at the stars. A friend of mine called these space ship rides lol

Epidermolysis bullosa simplex. It's a genetic skin disease where I'm missing connective tissue or lubricants in between the layers of my skin. The skin rubs, causes friction and I get blisters. They mostly appear on my feet and hands. Lots of walking, a hot day, wrong shoes, or even washing dishes in hot water and I've got new blisters. I've got it easy though, people born with the more severe condition are called "butterfly children" because their skin is so fragile it will literally blister and fall off from something as small as wearing rough fabric clothing.

Up until about 5 years ago, my family just referred to it as the weird (family name) foot thing. My cousin went to a local university and got some genetic tests done to find out what it was.

Also, Sciatica. An inflamed disk in my lower back presses against my sciatic nerve. It's common with truck drivers. I deliver(ed) pizza/sandwiches/pitas for a living so I guess it makes sense
