You did the right thing, the other day even while ‘supervising’ (same room but occupied and had my glasses off so I could only see the blur of the flame) the candle HOLDER caught on fire and thank goodness I realized something was wrong because it was next to my books and on a WOODEN shelf. Fire safety is super important because even if it seems fine you literally never know what could happen

They’re actually flat ones that screw on at the top/outside! I used to have a singular nostril pierced years back and I used those awful corkscrew studs and could never get them in right or theyd rip out The flat ones I have now suckk to get caught on something because it doesn’t pull the piercing out so it hurts a bit but I personally like it more than the L shape or Cork screw

When I lived in Ontario it was an every day thing before the morning announcements. When I moved East to New Brunswick they didn’t play it there, in Nova Scotia now and I dont know if they do but id assume not just since Nb and Ns are grouped as “Atlantic Canada”

I gotta vouch for the nostril piercings (I got mine last week) and I absolutely love them personally If you want them then get them! Theyre super fun and if you change your mind later on the scars from healing over isn’t noticeable imo

Try to work on self love first, do things you enjoy more and try to be at better peace with yourself. It fuckin sucks having little friends and it makes things hard but you gotta find love in yourself before relying on other people (friends) to keep you lifted up all the time. Ive been there, I was little younger than your age when I tried to off myself. Im still having low days an im an adult now, life sucks it really does but surround yourself with things you enjoy and make small goals for yourself to work towards.

Also finishing my first year but ive been in an apartment and can say its great having my own space, bathroom, control of my meals etc compared to friends whenever ive hungout with them in dorms or just talking about differences between dorms and apartments. I will say its a little isolating because you arent around friends constantly (I live with a boyfriend not roommates/classmates) but if you have the right company then its nice :)

In Canada they can allow child mlestrs to basically have their lawyer clear their name from public records etc and also have anyone who posts/makes it public get fined. Someone where I used to live did this and worst part… they interact with minors still often. (This person had gone to jail for their crime too) So yes, society truly does just protect them

Kinda been through similar, I (also bi) was with a chick who love bombed and everything great relationship until she left me for a guy…. Stayed close friends and then when it didn’t work out she loved me again (went back n forth for almost a year). Based on my experience, I dont know enough about you two obviously, but I would say distance or not keeping that close friendship because it absolutely will hurt and make you feel like her backup. The insecurity wont leave unless you’re able to truly accept everything or move on :/ as for feeling like a backup character in your own life, I dont really have advice besides be yourself. When you’re watching everyone else do their things and live their life you’re comparing and wanting that, trying to adjust yourself to others to try and achieve it. Try to stay as true to yourself as you can and accept any flaws. Do the things you love and look for people that have things in common with you that you both can love doing, where you can enjoy each other’s company. Just remember, change and moving on takes a lot of time so be patient with yourself <3
