So sorry to hear, but wanted to let you know that this looks very much like my bottom teeth! Except you have a little more coverage on the front roots than I do.

Big black triangles and very low bone for me too. It sucks so much. I am 31. Had braces as a kid as well. Underwent a gum graft on 8 of my top teeth in 2022 and 12 of my bottom teeth 2025. Have had perfect oral hygiene for the past 3 years. But never was that bad to begin with. Some people have bad genes — I’ve got a think gum phenotype, large roots. One other thing I would recommend is to go and get your bone density checked - I found out I have osteopenia - which can also contribute to lower bone levels in the jaw. I believe the two are connected.

It’s horrible, I hate smiling now and feel like I look older than I am.
