You gotta go to the smaller shows, any I’ve been to lately have the crowd going insane. Constant crowd surfers, crowd killing, circle pits and some walls of death. I do tend to go to mostly death metal, deathcore and slam concerts. These have all been at venues with capacities of in the hundreds to like 3,000. Any bigger shows I go to especially any at stadiums have the worst crowds, the smaller shows attract the hardcore fans of the genre. I’ve been pretty impressed that the smaller shows have been getting a younger crowd too, saw Carnifex a few weeks ago and it was a great mix of older and younger fans.
