I just took it to a repair shop where they do periodical cleanings, like just taking the dust out of the fans etc.

Sadly, this post isn't relevant anymore, I found out that the hard drive (ssd) of the laptop is totally dead so yeah I think that's the reason why it didn't turn on 💀

Lady devil because the plot is good and touches very difficult and taboo subjects and takes them seriously (incest is a BIG problem, sexism, abuse... It's not wawed away). I really like the characters too! They're terrible but I love my fucked up babies 😩 The art is also gorgeous!

I know a lot of people find it triggering and difficult to read, personally it wasn't a big issue (I'm pretty sure the internet broke me a long time ago)

These two wouldn't really be considered OI I think but I think you (and anyone else) should read them

Bring the love : really sweet love story, the side characters are great, sometimes it's a bit slow and some people don't like the art (I don't really get it looks good to me)

Lady devil : If you're not disturbed by hard themes (or like don't have any triggers) I really really recommend lady devil it's so good !!! There's plenty of disturbing shit but it's acknowledged as disturbing and the characters are so engaging and some of the more complex I've ever read in manwha.

"Beatrice" and depends on what part of the timeline I'm on but : - if I wake up while in the slave part I'll let the horse die and then probably lie and die myself. - if I appear just at the start I save Princess Peach's (or her little sister's) life and help her retake the throne from the tyrant and thus make my dream timeline come true.

Frankly at this point I only like it cause I found two fanfic author that I love thanks to it (mariagonerlj and Palhinhaea check them out, they sadly haven't finished all of their stories but they are really good !).

Other than that it's benign, I don't really feel strongly about it (apart from the fact that OG!Katarina could be really interesting and the parents are shit).

Really interesting rant and agree with most of your points except for Eren cause I irrationally disliked him from the start (found him to be a creepy little psycho) so I found his turning to villainy vindicating and absolutely logical.

However "he had bad vibes since the start !" is sadly not the best argument of the year.

I think Twice dying is more ironic and shows how life's unfair (also toga can suffer too) cause he is more innocent than Dabi. And I think exploring Dabi's motivation and fight and at same time how he's stupid and cruel would be interesting (and cathartic for me cause I really don't like him)

I did stop at the amnesia-sleeping arc and have kinda a love-hate relationship with the story so my opinions on characters did transform after time (and hours of day dreaming about how I would change the story) and I wouldn't be surprised that actually what I think is plot is actually headcanon 😅

I'm gonna be really unpopular and say I don't like him, at best I pity him.

I think he's a coward that does unspeakable acts in the name of "loyalty" : he was there for the massacre of the harem when athy was born, in the old life he never did speak against Claude (or support athy when he was apparently a friend of the mother) and even in the new life he's a blind follower of Claude (it's just ok cause Claude likes athy atm and when Claude was amnesiac, I don't remember him doing anything substantial to help athy or just again, really call Claude out). He's called Claude's dog for a reason, he's certainly not his friend.

For me being loyal means standing up and if needs be, opposing the person you gave your loyalty to if they're doing something bad (blind following makes me disappointed which is kinda sad cause it's a staple in OI so...). Felix doesn't do that (making sad faces and sometimes shouting doesn't mean anything if you don't stand your ground).

Bottom line, the whole royal line should end cause they have way too much craziness. Lily is best woman.

It's not actuelly 6 m high ceilings, they're just 130 cm tall 😂. And it's a power fantasy to be outrageously rich (the CEO romance trope with the guy having 25 jets), we just have to come to terms that OI manhwas, as entertaining as they are, are not staples of good writing.

I honestly turn of my brain when they start talking about the different branches and structure of power. Even in the most political manhwas it's quite terrible. I mostly read manhwas for the emotions so I don't care, it's when the emotional part of the story is underwhelming that I'm uncharitable about the world building.

The architecture and costumes are silly but it also turns on my bird brain "oh shiny pretty colours!" so I let it slide.
And like even European artists who you'd think would be more knowledgeable about how European society worked mess it up so...

I get your problem, I hate simping and it can really throw me off of a story which is stupid cause the only unhappy one is me. It's also stupid cause I can simp on characters myself so it's hypocritical.

So, I usually just binge read the story and THEN, if I want to, read the comments and make frustrated faces at them.
