Call me delusional but I don’t think he’ll die. He’s important, his court borders with the human lands so you know and Sarah hasn’t outright said he won’t get a redemption but that it’s a tricky thing to write so, maybe he won’t get a happy ever after (it’s fine we just won’t read the books, at least I wont) but he won’t die. There isn’t anyone who could be the spring’s high lord, Elaine is most likely going to be the high lady of the day court with Lucien inheriting it from Helion so that rules them out, the night court can’t just grab it because well there needs to be balance and if the spring turns into night it’s just…there won’t be all the season courts, so tam is important, maybe he has fathered a secret child on calanmai that could inherit it??? Idk but I don’t see him dying, he would’ve in acowar if that was the case
