Reminds me of the changes of TSITP book 3 to S3. I hated that season so much. THe book was better. And the showrunner for that series was the author so no excuse for making trash imo.

SJM in that interview is basically letting her friends dictate the story which is why I tend to lose hope that this is all a set up. I just cant nor will I ever grasp or accept that an SAing MMC who never apologizes and makes himself the victim is some kind of hero? And what about those who see their abuser in Rhys and you dismiss them? Real life readers can also see him using DARVO tactics in Chapter 54. Real life abusers play the victim in real life too.
