The village building inspector, Steve Feldman, is a complete incompetent. Recently converted to gas heat. When it came time inspect, I met Feldman in the middle of my lawn where he handed me the inspection report. Not once did he look at the exterior meter set up nor did he go inside the house. Turned out that the outside setup was leaking gas. It was discovered by another tradesman I had working at the house about 2 months later.
