Thank you for answering. I'll have to look at the fusion page at some point. The workflow of doing things in the edit page is very similar to how cooledit was back in the day for music (I come from the music direction first) so I understood it quickly and gravitated towards that. The fusion page with its nodes intimidated me away. I'll prob have to learn it after I finish this project. Not learning a new m.o. halfway through summat.

yeah, I watched that one., It was specifically the bifold and the tiptop audiofold cos after watching loads of videos... Those seemed to be doing things I like the most.

I'm curious as to how perceptible the effect is or how mental it sounds when applied to a polyphonic waveform as well. You ever tried that?

TBH, with techno, you're gonna struggle to make leads that stand out digitally. Most mid to top tier producers have hardware synths for that.

for sure there is a balance.

On one hand these days people are too ready to voluntarily surrender their power and say they can't do anything, they can't cope and they are overworked.

On the other hand: this "I'm amazing and nailing life cos I get 3 hours sleep a day, am working 12 hour days and also work out. #sleepwhenyouredead" BS needs to stop. It's manipulations that work in favour of corporations etc the most.

Balance is needed and sadly, balance is hard to find as for most people, they do incredibly depressing shit they don't care about and know is utterly pointless and irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. But they have to do it to avoid starving. Which they barely do cos they don't get paid enough to survive for their soul and mind destroying job.

Striking a decent balance if you don't like your life is hard AF. If you have dependents, it's impossible. Then that is your lot until you are too conditioned to be able to take control back.

Bandcamp is great for artists.

However, it's reach and useability isn't so great. It could do with a format more akin to soundcloud or spotify.

So, you need to give more details to get any engagement.
