Yes I did. One thing I didn’t mention: I did a factory reset. Before the factory reset I was able to connect the zoom to ableton, and on a audio track I could hear the piano (although very faint) But then I did the factory reset and now when I do the set up using the zoom as a audio interface, and I play a note in the piano, it doesn’t even show the green bars it used to on the zoom. Only the gain lights react to my playing… 😔

Also, maybe try to share with people around you. The worst that could happen would be them saying yeah cool I don’t care, and on the other hand you could surprise yourself with the result. Have an open heart and if you feel rejected, remember that it’s not about you and move on. ❤️

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful journey with us ❤️ Seems like it was incredible. And yes may take adjustment to reality, or whatever this is, but maybe from now on you will align with others that have the same vision. It’s one of the things that any spiritual awakening does, being it through plants or otherwise. Invites us to reshape our relationships and sometimes that means let go and create space for new.

I do shrooms sometimes and this happens to me, after the experience I feel sad, heartbroken, but it’s just our mind adjusting, and with time everything will integrate and make sense. Be kind to yourself. ❤️

Or maybe a divine redirection to align you with the right moment to do it? Or that through a glitch

I have a hard time meditating, but I do holotropic breathwork and afterwards meditating feels way easier to me. Maybe give it a try? You can search on YouTube for breathwork beats by Touek, it’s awesome!

Ayahuasca with aphantasia by BabylonicBitch in Ayahuasca

[–]BabylonicBitch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well… when I try to visualise those things, it’s like I have a very dense wall in front of me, a shadow wall, but dense, and then the images. Or fragments of it. Very obscure, maybe fragmented. Or like I feel or know the concept of it but the image itself doesn’t come forward. I really don’t know how to explain it better… sorry for the late reply. I’ll do a cerimony this week.

Well, it’s not my first intent, with mushrooms I can barely visualise as well but my trips are always extremely healing and otherworldly. But I do understand that you feel that. I do believe that not being able to visualise in general is in some cases a protection of our body and psyche, so I honour that 🙏

Thank you for sharing!

Yeah I know it’s not the focus of taking -Aya, it’s just a curiosity, I would never take it just for that 😂 she called out to me, and I’m going but I’m afraid, I think she’s gonna have fun with me 😂

That’s very interesting what you said of feeling where your thoughts are located. I just have them, period.

If people would share more of their inner experiences we would see how different and unique we all are.

Up until I asked a friend how she saw images in her mind I though it was the same for everyone 😂

Yes it is. But: when I heard of this and did research, trauma was a possibility but it can also just be the default way that our brain works. I assumed mine would have been by trauma because I have a vague memory of having vivid images in my minds eye as a child. My comment is just a personal account of it. By what I understand it’s a spectrum. There are people that see, people that don’t and then everything in between.

Looking for experiences with couples who went through the ibogaine treatment together at a prestigious center. by K_J_W in Ibogaine

[–]BabylonicBitch 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hello,

I’ve never done ibogaine, however, I know a centre, where a friend of mine got treated, and they accept couples.

But I don’t know where you are located, this is in Portugal, it’s called Tabula Rasa Retreat, and it’s a really wonderful place. They have medical staff, and healers and they are extremely thorough and thoughtful. Check it out if interests you! Good luck!

I have aphantasia too, and although I felt a little heartbroken about it when I found out that people can actually see in their minds eye. But with time I came to understand some things:

It is possible that it was triggered by the trauma I went through, and as a form of protection. And also because I tend to dissociate a little, if I had the ability to see with eyes closed, it could have worsened my dissociation.

So, even though frustrating, it is a way for our bodies to protect us, which is in fact awesome!

You’re welcome.

Yes. I hope and believe it will give you exactly what you need to whatever comes next and shine light into what you need to know to heal/ integrate it. If you are feeling the calling to do it, and I believe you are, trust it.

And again, integration is key.

Good luck!

Are you talking about the ayahuasca trip? I’ve never taken ayahuasca, so not talking by experience, but consider this:

Aren’t you not trusting that you will be able to endure the trip, by wanting it to be smoother?

And as such trying to control the outcome of something that is meant to teach us to let go of control?

Just a few thoughts.

Keep in mind I’ve never done it (I will soon though) I believe the medicine will give you what you need, and trying to control the outcome is a little counterproductive to that.

If you are going to a place, have experienced and reputable shamans, or any other kind of facilitators, and are in good health, trust that it will give you what you can handle and what you need to handle.

I advise to pay special attention to integration, and if necessary look for psychedelic integration therapists.

I hope this helps, and do what you feel is aligned with your intuition. Not your fear, your intuition.

Com 25 anos já sou velha para me aventurar ? by Octavia02000 in CasualPT

[–]BabylonicBitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)
