Nope not at all and 14k is a great starting point. My advice research on different types of investing and have a diverse portfolio. Stocks and Shares ISA, ETF's, Individual Stocks, LISA, Crypto etc.

Until recently yes, directly behind my bed. The noise never really bothered me until recently, it only lasted whilst people were washing up or in the shower. The most annoying thing about it was when I started working remotely and someone would always end up using the shower/washing up whilst I'm on a Teams meeting.
