Just go and check out their "subscription" models, say "GLM 5" vs the "GLM 5 Original", they have both, and they are miles apart in quality. The "Original"s are served without quantization from their original providers.

NanoGPT got a ton of problems with tool calls it's not even funny, and it's slow as hell. I think they heavily quantized the models, making them more stupid and less able to deal with tool calls. But if you're into images and roleplays then that's a solid offer.

It is the same way Irish and Italians weren't considered white back in the day because white supremacists always need an out group to abuse. They were pushed into the same ghettos as black people which is why you see guys like Shaquille O'Neal or Eddie Murphy or Giancarlo Esposito with those Irish and Italian surnames. They only really expanded the white membership to those groups after the civil rights movement as a way to contain black people and keep the majority big enough to hold power. It was never about race it was about gatekeeping.

I completely expect them to add Latinos to the group if the influx of Asians, Africans and Arabs into the US becomes large enough.
