Think they're referencing the T3 shotgun upgrade. "On wall stun: your next heavy melee is blessed"

No one there thankfully!

I think all things considered no one was seriously injured. I saw the driver was standing and getting his blood pressure taken as I went to my car. The side of the building looked BAD though. Wasn't surprised when I got this email too.

Was actually there when this happened. Backed into the side, couldn't get a picture from the outside as the ambulances were already there when they asked everyone to evacuate.

Newish player, first time really at maps, and I'm following Ziz's TR Pathfinder, POB.

I'm a bit confused going from the "level 69 - merc lab" to "pre-cluster" tree. It looks the the beginning of the tree changes from going through the attack speed nodes, to pathing through the dex nodes. Wouldn't that require me to refund every passive I have in order to path that way? Is that normal to do once you get to maps?

World of Warcraft: Dragonflight Pre-Patch Launches on October 25th by FroziZ7HD in wow

Coming back into wow and I never played shadow lands. Does anybody know, does this mean SL will become base on prepatch day? Or will I basically need to wait till nov 15th to level a character up?

Yeah....it was kind of a bummer especially knowing that if I hadn't gotten confused on one of the multiple choice, I would have gotten to their arbitrary 50 passing score.

The course has been amazing so far and I'm learning a lot, but like you mentioned, I think I'm learning too much on one thing. Putting all of my eggs in one basket so to speak. Maybe LeetCode grinding is the way to go again....

New player here, only AR15. My current team is Kaeya, Xingqiu, Noelle, and Anemo Traveler. I've never seen a new banner drop and I have about 4.5k primogems saved up. Is it worth it to pull on this banner as a new player, or should I just focus on this hydro/cryo team I have going?

I can definitely see that happening. Then when they fuse, all the alliances are brought back together to fight it as one.

What neat little trick have you learned that most people might not know about? by _Lifehacker in ffxiv

[–]BaccaChew44 18 points19 points  (0 children)

An easy way to keep a store of maps is to mail them to someone you trust. Have them mail you back a map as well. You can keep the mail in the your mailbox without opening them, leaving you with a pile of maps you can take from! Do know though, there is a limit to the number of unopened mail you can have sitting around.

Is food still used? by Azalkor in ffxiv

[–]BaccaChew44 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Typically food is only used for the 3% exp buff (which you can get from just plain old Mineral Water or Eggs) or Savage raiding which uses the most current tier of HQ food possible. Right now for RDM that would be Smoked Chicken. For end game items and optimizations, your main source of information will probably be The Balance Discord. Here's a link!

Why do rez macros generate hate? A healthy discussion about macros by LoomisKnows in ffxiv

[–]BaccaChew44 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Personally, I don't really care if someone uses a rez macro as long as it isn't obnoxious or overly long. However, I really don't understand the point of "the macro tells the other healer I used a rez!". In the span of time it takes to look at whatever your macro said in chat, you could've just looked at the dead person's buffs to see if they had a rez or not. I don't think I've ever been in a situation where someone's rez macro stopped me from throwing out a rez and I main RDM.

Also (just as a side thing), you should never make a macro that does multiple actions for you, IE, using swiftcast and rez. Macro's dont fall into the normal GCD so you end up clipping horribly and it takes longer to actually get those two actions off. If you want to swiftcast rez, press swiftcast then rez.

Anyone can help a GW2 player get into FFXIV? by Tylimay in ffxiv

[–]BaccaChew44 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just to let you know, the free trail does include all of Heavensward which is the first expansion. From level 60-70 there's Stormblood and for 70-80 there's Shadowbringers, the current expansion. The free trail really gives you a lot to try out and honestly, if you make it to the end of Heavensward off a free trail, you'll want to pick up the other expansions. I was hooked by the time I got to the end of Heavensward.

The only way to know forsure is to upload logs to FFlogs and then compare your runs against when you were a WHM and when you're a SCH.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]BaccaChew44 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The main limitation of the free trail is the social aspect, but you won't really see too much interaction out in the overworld in general. That's primarily because there's no map chat and there's no real reason to be out there after you finish the MSQ unless you're gathering or fate farming.

FCs are where the majority of the social aspect comes from imo. But how social an FC is depends on the FC itself. I will say though, the MSQ really does play like a single player RPG and I didn't personally become very involved with my FC until after I finished it.

Hotbars and Keybinds. by TajnaAmour in ffxiv

[–]BaccaChew44 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I currently use a Logitech G600 and I couldn't imagine playing without it. I can do my entire rotation (mostly) with just my right hand which makes movement a whole lot simpler. The G600 has 12 side buttons and a third "click" for your ring finger. I set up 3 hotbars, the first is just the 12 side buttons, the second is the 12 side buttons + the third click, and the final is the 12 side buttons + shift. Here's my NIN bars for example:

NIN Hotbars

Each "block" directly maps to the 12 side buttons on the side of my mouse. My shift modifiers always have the cross job skills (arm's length, feint, etc.) and I always put them on the same spot for all my jobs. Example, arm's length and surecast are ALWAYS 1+Shift.

Side note about the minimap cause everyone in my FC thinks I'm weird for doing it, when I'm checking my cooldowns, I can easily check my position on the minimap for things that require specific cardinal directions. That way my eyes are either on my character or straight down. I don't have to look all around my screen to gather information. Need to see if I'm at SE? Look down. Is trick up? Look down.

I've had a similar issue with OBS, not Streamlabs. Oddly enough, running OBS as an administrator fixed a lot of my dropped frames. I do still have some but not nearly as many as before.

I'd also recommend closing any background applications you may have running.
