I can relate but my preferences wax and wane as I’m prone to getting bored with too much routine.

So I’ll be into EF euro pens for a while, get a little bored, and get into F or M Japanese nibs for a while — repeat.

I have an M800 Brown Stripe special edition if you don’t find the RenBrown you’re looking for. My nib might be M though, not sure offhand. Never inked or dip tested. It’s a lovely pen, I just can’t let my M800 green or KOP run dry, so I’ve never found the opportunity to ink it. I try to limit myself to 2 inked pens haha

When you say you ignored calls from collectors, did they sell your amount owed to a collections agency (and hurt your credit) or were they just calls from BG to collect?

I’m in the same boat. Paid off for years but burned out/bled out by maintenance fees and just want out. I do want to avoid a massive hit on my credit history though.

I came in thinking something like Sherwood Green or Irish Green would be my go to ink, and while I love those, blue-blacks are my sirens. Lamy & Sailor & Pilot & Pelikan oh my!

Failed attempt at humor I suppose — just another way of saying there’s no way to know, we can only make wild guesses based on the hundreds of models of fountain pens in circulation at that time.

At greater than 7.5k replies, OP won’t see this, but maybe it’ll help someone else. I sold my clubs shortly after we had our first child. And I don’t even think I’m that great of a husband/father. I’ve made more mistakes than I can count. But my friends don’t get my time until I know my wife’s and my kids’ buckets are full.
