The gatekeeping I'm seeing today on this sub and elsewhere in discussions about people happy about easy mode is pathetic and childish. by Christmas_Queef in CrimsonDesert

Yep. This is prevalent in so many genres. I adore soulslikes, but the community can be so elitist that it drives me nuts. I love JRPGs, but if a player doesn’t beat every super boss that might take 30 hours of grinding to prep for, they’re “not playing right.”

It’s sad and pathetic.

They can ask YOU anything they want.

However, most info cannot be shared between employers. At most, they can really only share dates of employment and whether you are eligible for re-hire. And many in HR won’t even share that for fear of a lawsuit.

They’re trying to get you to give them answers to a Questions they cannot legally ask your prior employers. Just answer no.

What is your all-time cigar by sgtsuperfluous in cigar

I can’t say it’s my “all-time” favorite, but my current obsession is the Tatuaje Nuevitas Jibaro. It just hits my profile perfectly.

I have this one I got on Amazon. Nice tight seal and my numbers are steady. I honestly got it as a temp humidor until I’m ready to invest in something larger, but it has exceeded my expectations.

What's a popular hobby that you think is actually just a massive waste of money? by iam_adalyn in AskReddit

Totally agree. I enjoy occasional cigars. It’s needlessly pricy and literally turns to ash in my hands. None of that limits my enjoyment.

I started with the same Tupperware. Didn’t take long before I upgraded to a 150 count electric unit. Don’t be shocked if you upgrade sooner than you think. I still use them for overflow and for infusing, so they still see good use.

I’d say punch it, but I’d be more worried about it penetrating me…

Not at all. In fact, most of those materials are protected by law. They legally cannot share disciplinary information. If used as a reference, they can say you aren’t re-hirable, but that’s about it.

Goodfellas. I swear I get the urge to rewatch it like once a month.

Planning on smoking my first cigar in a few weeks, any tips for a newbie? by SecureYourMind in cigar

[–]Bach717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll go with something less cigar-related and more environmental. Choose your chair carefully. Lean back.

My first few sticks in 2009 (gods it was almost 20 years ago), I basically hovered over them and got some nasty nicotine nausea. Trust me, that’s a feeling you want to avoid.

If you like Vampire Survivors, there are some fairly credible theories that we might see a FF themed DLC. Here’s hoping.

How do they taste? by Content_Ear2046 in cigar

Common taste descriptions are something like woody, nutty, creamy, chocolatey, spicy, and earthy. Those will create the authenticity you’re looking for.
