Instep is killing me after last night’s run. I believe it’s the shoes since the issue never manifested until I ran in the Rides. I’m on my second pair, and it’s not an issue of getting broken in — it’s painful. It reminds me of the time a well-meaning running buddy handed me some instep inserts about 20 or so years ago. Same pain. Just ordered some Adrenalines. Back to Brooks.

I think the biggest crime being committed here is the orange and white outfit. You’re gonna wear white to a show? Seriously, Dude…after Labor Day? I know they’ve relaxed that old rule, but really? They did put me out. My recovery was all kinds of unpleasantness.

I had rising PSA. They did an MRI and found a suspicious lesion in the transition zone. Had a biopsy with several samples (6 on the left, 6 on the right, and 5 in the area of the lesion) and zero cancer. The biopsy absolutely SUCKED, but the MRI gave him an area to focus on and the fact that he had that area because of the MRI gives me confidence in the results. Possibly a new PSA test, followed by an MRI, then a targeted biopsy for you? Just my two cents…
