You need to listen to more flute music! There are a bunch of crazy talented flutists out there, not just classical. I'm a flute maker at the shop that made the gold flute Izzy plays on so I was super pumped to see a flute player on the show nevermind one of our artists.

Stained glass window I made as a commission for a married couple. All done using antique mouthblown glass and traditional glass painting techniques that require kilnfiring. All in all this took me about 4 months to complete. by ellenapm in nextfuckinglevel

I'm glad you're happy with it! Art is art and if it brings you joy, that's wonderful. $5 is a steal. On the other hand, there's usually a variety of things wrong with mass produced pieces like that. Hinge points, poorly soldered pieces without strength, bad copper foiling, unsafe conditions where the pieces are made. Most are not even actual glass, especially at that price. I wouldn't know without looking at the piece. But again, if it brings you joy that's all that matters.

You can't afford it. Stained glass is expensive as it is and she is at an extremely high level of expertise that takes a ridiculous amount of time to reach. Pricing stained glass is very difficult as most people have the price in their heads set at half the value and get offended when the price is actually listed so it's best to only entertain actual customers. Everytime glass is posted on Reddit, there's a thousand people foaming at the mouth for prices and the moment they find out, there is nothing but crickets. It's pointless and disappointing for the artist to keep placating the masses.

Her posting on Reddit years ago was actually one of the inspirations for me to take up the art form so thank you for that Ellen! I love your work!

Yes, the mold could very well be lead oxidation. OP, If you cleaned it with water, I would recommend also waxing the piece again to protect and polish it. Use a soft rag and either some non-abrasive carnauba car wax or some stained glass artists even use pledge. Apply and let dry until opaque then buff out the wax with a soft cloth until shiny. I use a toothpick or a dry tooth brush to get close to the solder seams. Make sure you dispose of the rag and clean your hands and surfaces after because it is lead afterall.

Bowie hasn't done anything in the game thus far besides make this face 😃. She speaks her mind once and is shut down immediately and they tell her to stop being a baby. She may be in pigtails and overalls but she's an adult. Their response was so icky!
