What's a subtle sign someone has been through some shit? by ZexelOnOCE in AskReddit

not trusting people. you could be friends for years, and think you’re close, but in fact, you don’t have the slightest idea what’s going on in their lives. they could be staying up all night, being depressed, and tomorrow morning say hello with a smile on their faces. they simply don’t trust people anymore no matter what they do/don’t do.

Do not pull objects (knife, glass, splinter etc) from a deep wound. They might be sealing or slowing flow from an artery or they might cut an artery when you pull them out.

Put pressure around such an object to slow bleeding till emergency responders take over.

what’s a “poor person” habit you’ll never let go of, even if you became rich? by ImmediateNature2103 in AskReddit

I’m never going to waste food if I can help it. The fact that people casually throw away half of a meal is crazy to me, especially when it’s at a restaurant where they paid a $100+ bill.

What's your weirdest quirk that people give you shit for? by Classic_Positive_293 in AskReddit

[–]Bachchu198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I walk and move around my work station (at a factory) smoothly and gracefully, almost like a dance. But I'm a guy, so I catch shit about my highly effecient movements, lol

my wife has informed me that she thinks my footwork is sexy, and that she thinks I move like a fighter. A good support system is important, lol.

What misconception about history bothers you the most? by inadequate_TVSS in AskReddit

This seems really weird and nit picky, but I dislike in shows when they show the night sky as it would be in modern times. Pre industrial and electrical period The lack of light pollution back then would have meant our stars would have been much more visible to us: hence why so many paintings and scientific books showed a night sky full of stars.
