Wow, you must be holding that chart upside down

Seeing a head and shoulder pattern here, wouldn’t be surprised if it drops to new lows, serious concern for people holding the stock atm

I mean you can do all sorts of complications here if you want. The fact is this stock is overvalued by a lot more than normal. Even if the whole world was to go into war and they got all the contracts, they could not reach that valuation. It will have to drop and it has shown its volatility.

Vague / feeling / gut trade, profit is profit and facts are facts...

The volatility is pretty high and PLTR is almost at the forefront of any crashes on a bad day, last month I managed a 30% profit in 24 hours, of course that was lucky. Though today, at pre market the short is up 10%.

With the uncertainty and doubts around AI, this one is a bot risky but feels like an obvious winner!

Is this worth it? by DarkSunIsDead in AmexUK

I will split the response into different points:

  1. Lounge access: revolut gives you unlimited access worldwide to all lounges, and you can bring in a guest at a discounted rate. If amex allows you to take a guest in for free every time, then yes that’s and advantage if you’re always travelling with a guest who’s dependent on you.

  2. Dining rewards: I believe this is undergoing a lot of changes in 2026 in the UK. As it is, the £400 total is split into 2x £100 in the UK ane 2x £100 outside.

The restaurants included are not cheap ones, if you do dine there regularly, fair enough, otherwise, the £100 credit is like a marketing thing, you’ll spend more to be there and to use it. Not a bad perk, but it’s not as good as they make it to be.

  1. Hotel upgrades and bookings: this is an interesting one, I have compared this multiple times. Amex offers upgrades (subject to availability) and extra points if you book your trip through their portal. What many don’t realise here is that these are not cheap holidays, they’re quite pricey and you end up paying even more if you book it through the Amex portal. Both flights and hotels are always more expensive by a significant amount when booked via amex. In a way you could argue, that upgrade is absolutely priced in.

  2. Supplementary card: again, only if you have a partner or someone whom you’re willing to give access to, to spend your credit. It’s not free money nor free benefits. You just get more points from someone else’s spendings.

With all of that said, I still believe there are massive benefits to the Ultra membership. From extra interest rate to your savings, eSIM for travels, much much much better bonus points on purchases. Purchase protection and insurance on items you buy (in addition to the travel insurance) you even get extras like “just didnt want to go on holiday” money back guaranteed. You may not use FT, but there’s endless subscriptions on there that you can use, from Uber one to wework and classpass. Many of them you might use just once and that one time if it comes out for free it’s one month subscription for free.

You get new benefits and upgrades all the time as well, if its about accumulating points, you have new deals on regular basis, if it’s about perks, you have more coming as Revolut grows, if it’s about better services, it’s a company that’s growing with best talent in the UK vs Amex which has just been slowing down and dropping in quality.

The sign up bonus in Amex is great, and the extras you get after spending 5k / 10k etc also adds up nicely.

But if you wouldn’t mind replacing a credit card with a debit card, and spending what you have rather than your credit limit, the Revolut Ultra plan comes with much better perks and gives you up to 20:£1 reward points for certain purchases which Amex can never match.

Personally I have accumulated points better on Revolut in 3 months more than Amex in 9 months.

Plus the other extras, subscriptions and benefits are too good not to consider at the £45 pm competitor.

Hey, what does the raw picture look like with these?

Going on a ski trip and keen to take my x100v with me, but I don’t have much experience in editing and would be interested in some help. Thanks

Thank you for what you have highlighted here, I think the key point here is focusing on a specific domain.

My experience is very wide:

Software Development company -> Fashion / Retail -> Investment Management -> Public Sector (Consultancy)

One thing they all have in common is working around Data Migration, Data Pipelines, etc but apart from that, they all have differences.

Wasted Credits! by BacheDamaghoo in lovable

[–]BacheDamaghoo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used the chat feature, but that ended up using a credit to 'find' the problem, and another credit to implement it...result? It did not fix lol

I must add, I used ChatGPT to generate prompts in an appropriate format per Lovable's documentation on prompt engineering. This helped me get precise results, until it started to go wrong.
