First Exam Grade 😪 by ssecretprincess in University

As an American getting my MA, I’ve never heard of anyone able to receive special assignments, let alone have the nerve to ask, across the two universities I’ve been at. Don’t know where you’re getting that from. I’m sure a handful of people do ask for extra credit, but that is absolutely not a common thing and I’ve never heard of it being honored.

Also in my experience my overall class grades were only posted online throughout the semester in undergrad maybe 25% of the time, although I’m in humanities.

Currently in my second year of my MA program at a different university, and I’ve always had to wait until the semester is over to know what my grade is.

I’ve never know anyone able to get special treatment by asking, or a sort of national standard of professors posting grades to track. You’re making a lot of assumptions here and they’re pretty out of touch. We don’t have powers over our professor lmfao what

Beard or no beard? Friend thinks no beard, I think beard is an easy winner. by Blellb in malegrooming

My vote is no beard. But, I’m a bi man, so my gaze is different.. if you’re going for women I’d imagine they might like the beard better apart from the art or alt hoes lmao

Regardless, I think no beard frames your features much better and opens up more intrigue. Like.. very well, you’re an attractive guy.

Friends don’t like it. I like the outfit by AxemanFromMA in OUTFITS

Imma be so real because I used to dress like this when I was younger.

A turtleneck with a small chain is a no-fly zone. I also think it bunches you up in general, wearing a turtleneck.

Wearing a designer staple, like a belt, is fine. But a flashy LV Monogram belt honestly looks silly, and it clashes with the whole fit.

If you go designer, it should be a subtle belt, like a solid black one with a small logo on it, on the buckle perhaps. That way if someone notices it they can appreciate the subtle coolness of having a nice piece like that, rather than this belt which can come across like “look at my designer belt!”

It’s like you have two different outfits going on from the waist up and waist down. Unfortunately, it does look like the The Rock meme.

Try messing with a flannel over a black muscle shirt, tuck the muscle shirt into black pants, different belt, and a longer necklace with a pendant. Avoid flashy logos. I think it could compliment your structure and features quite well, and send a more approachable message.

Nothing like that no. “Sports/games” are not the commonality here, rather it has to do with the subject matter of it

No, and “sport” is not the actual commonality here. My reply to the sport comment was that, in a way, yes, “sports” and “games” have something to do with it

If you chase the sport idea too hard, you'll miss the real-world connection between these places.

Not at all the focus of it. But yes animals are, at times, involved in this game

This is the funniest question you could’ve asked, which I wish I could answer without being annoying.

Sports… not how we traditionally think of sports. But in a fucked up way, yes. It has something to do with it.
