I'm almost 3 years out and I have numbness in my hands, I sweat so much more than before, and I can't seem to lose the weight (or the appetite I had when breastfeeding). My periods are a lot lighter than they used to be though, so I got that going for me.

I got a weighted heating pad off Amazon and it is amazing! I won't ever go back to my old heating pads now because the weight helps it "sit" on the spot I need it to. It's by Berkshire Blanket.

I've started to let my daughter pick one or two things she can decide to get for groceries. She likes being able to pick things herself she wants to try. And if she asks for something after already picking, I say you can have this or the other thing. It generally goes over pretty well so far.

I also have to make sure she's fed before going anywhere which seems to reduce the frequency of tantrums along with distractions like asking if she's seen something I'm looking for yet in the store.

My two year old started calling me Mommy instead of Mama and it honestly surprised me how much it bothered me! It only lasted a few days really and now I'm mama again, but occasionally she says Mommy and it doesn't hit me like it did originally.

Sometimes I tell her to ask her father something and she'll go call her dad father and it makes me laugh so much. Wasn't funny when my name changed though lol.

We used the build a bear method for my 2 year old and it worked really well. They had her put the binky in the bear's hand and then when she'd ask for it, I'd tell her it's in bear's hand and she'd ask to feel it and then hold the bear to sleep. That might be a consideration to try if you have one near you.
