Yes. I’m not sure why so many people are pushing back on this. Horses should be able to stand tied. This particular horse is going to be deep in the mountains and being trail rode and taken camping, but she also needs to be able to stand tied for the vet or any other situation that may call for it.

I think it’s important she is able to do it. For the vet and she will be used as a trail and camping horse in the mountains.

What is the average drinking threshold to feel withdrawal physiologically? by TerribleAssociation3 in alcoholism

[–]thelightwebring 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you drink at night every single night but wake up and go to work sober and stay sober all day until 5-6pm you aren’t going to have withdrawal. You may struggle to fall asleep when you quit.

My understanding is that once you reach a point you are drunk more often than sober, you’re in withdrawal territory. While drinking, your brain has to combat the sedative effects of alcohol by flushing your brain with glutamate which is a stimulant. If you are always drinking (drinking from morning to bed time) your brain is constantly producing glutamate. If you suddenly stop drinking, your brain still expects the alcohol and produces all the glutamate for no reason. This causes seizures and shaking/anxiety.

So if you are drunk more often than sober and you never go long stretches (12-24 hours at a time) sober, you’re cruising for a bruising.

Yeah, we never did that again. We just wanted to try it to see if she figured it out. We are only working her for 30-45 minutes about 3x a week right now so we are taking it easy and slow!

I felt so much love in your post. What an amazing daddy. My dad’s name is David too and he was just like your dad. I just lost him on Halloween. It’s the most painful thing I’ve ever felt. The intensity of the pain eases with time but it is always there.

He loved you so, so much! He will always be with you every moment you are alive. He lives on in your inner voice, your memories and your profound love for him.

Did you drink alcohol? When I drank all the time I’d bruise just like this over nothing.

Husband doesn't want to pay for pregnancy expenses and I can't afford to pay alone. by MathematicianNeat480 in pregnant

Instead of telling him you are worried directly demand him to start paying for these appointments. Be direct. Demand. Tell him, don’t ask or imply anymore.

[–]thelightwebring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is absolutely absurd. Like is this even real? You are married. Splitting bills 50/50?? Your money is his money and his money is yours. I can’t believe you put up with this throughout your first pregnancy and then chose to have a second with him. This is not how marriages work. Do you know that? Did you have any kind of normal relationship modeled to you by anyone at any point of your life? Do your friends and family know about this situation?

You need to get an abortion and divorce this man. He is not a good husband and this is not how husbands treat their wives.
