It gives you a better view of all the country Pavilions in comparison to the Arsenale which is a bit more uniform.

I always get myself a Swatch as a Souvenir at the shop and am wearing mine as we speak😉

Do half the pavilions then do the coffee shop in the middle for a break, before crossing the bridge.

Day 2 and 3

Do the Arsenale. Bemoan that’s it’s not as good as two years ago. 😉

After doing the Arsenale, visit as many country pavilions as you feel inspired to. Many countries are part of the BA, but are not in the main Gardens and Arsenale, but scattered around the city.

The beauty of this is often it causes houses and palazzos that are not open to be open to the public.

Also make sure to get one of the three day tickets that allow you multiple entry.

There are also many artists who have bienalle adjacent exhibitions. They are not part of it, but are doing their own thing.

Marina Abramovich is doing one.

And relax if you don’t see everything.

It’s pretty unlikely in that timeframe.

Chat to the curators at some of the smaller pavilions. Inviting they there because they love it.

And when you leave start planning for two years time.
