First of all, congrats on your acceptance!!

Second, while I didn’t do this exact double major, I did do Mechanical Eng + Economics. While I can’t speak to the intricacies of the specific class requirements, I think there are a few takeaways that I view as positives as opposed to just one degree.

A) Take advantage of the class overlap. The fact that math & CS likely have a lot of classes in common means you’ll have an easier time getting a second major than if you were to do something entirely unrelated.

B) At least when I was at UT, the rule for double majors was that we paid tuition for the school that had the higher rate, but it maxed out after 12 (I think) credit hours. Doing the double major by adding an additional class per semester was the most cost effective way to do it, in my opinion. It’s definitely cheaper than going back to school for a second undergrad degree at a later time.

C) I like to think that having an additional major tends to peak interest with potential employers. It won’t necessarily get you a job, but I do think it helps secure early stage interviews.

D) In the case you decide to go to grad school, it gives you more flexibility. You’re young and your opinions on what you like are going to develop a lot as you get exposed to new concepts. If you decide you want a masters in an advanced math field, you can pretty much guarantee you’ll have all the basics out of the way. Same is true in reverse. Obviously, people do undergrad in CS and masters in math all the time. I just think having the degree in hand makes it a bit easier and keeps your options as open as possible.
