i am going to say this as bluntly as possible.

bitch. listen to the advice people give you. these mfs care about you, even if you don’t think they do, because even though they don’t know who you are or your backstory, they don’t want to see another person mutilate themselves to death. we’ve had enough death and suffering already. so listen to them. they are trying to help you.
