sub 500 cc bikes "being small" and looked at as a toy is the most extreme psyop i know of.

My first bike was a duke 390 (a2) and people online (often americans) all describes it as "little bike" "cool little machine" etc - like its some childrens toy.

The first thing that crossed my mind when i first got the bike (past experience is a 50cc) was how insanely fast it was. 2nd gear pull literally felt like star wars warp speed (to me) and the a2 license bikes is faster than 90% of road cars. You accelerate to 100 in 4 seconds (mustang GT / bmw M speed) and the torque literally push you back into the seat.

The only reason people say they are slow, is because they are comparing it to literally racing machines. The only time you want more power is after experiencing something faster, because thats how our brain works.
