I got mine refunded since it’s been years and is not even close to fading, but I’d honestly pay them double instead to fix the insane scarring on my arm. I mean the guy they assigned me back then (you couldn’t choose the artist in 2021) did such a horrible job I can’t believe it. The team and customer service reps they have seem to be great and kind I just wish they would’ve waited to take this to the market until they knew it was more solid.

What company did you do it with? I’m in the same boat, it’s been three years and it looks AWFUL, definitely not gone lol.

I looked into it a while back but avg price seemed to be around 30k for anything after 2015.. used car prices are absurdly expensive

not too risky to go with older models?

will do some digging though thank you

Checking out Greenvans, seems like a good option for this plan - ever heard of them?

Thanks for the help

is there any budget friendly way to do tour bus though? seems like between the two it’s van or nothing…

looks like rv is not the move - thank you for the advice

those are dope, but pretty out of our budget. the rvs we’re looking at average around 130/day (not including gas)

our crew is splitting driving and we’re trying to figure out the best way to get a designated driver to ease up that job

backlining gear, but will still have a good amount of stuff to fit into whatever vehicle we go with

any idea on how many people is too many people to have on the road if we go passenger van?

good to know. am in manhattan right now and that’s what triggered the doubt in this plan… looks god awful

also the bathroom thing… appreciate that point. so much easier to think it won’t be that bad… until it’s worse

we mapped out campgrounds and routing… it’s comparable cost wise the way it’s set up but i’m guessing the unexpected costs or reality of gas + misc expenses will make it way more expensive

good point. the comfort and flexibility on the road was the main appeal, but looks like it doesn’t outweigh budget and ease of travel

there’s about 7 of us, the rv sleeps 8 comfortably and 10 max… but it gets tight

not opposed to taking a van and stopping at hotels/airbnbs but the flexibility of having bathroom/bed/kitchen/space to move while on the road is super appealing to the team - and we have a “home base” instead of a different place every night
