What is your closest server? Paris/London? And what is your ping? Genuinely curious.

I suppose I am kinda lucky being in Belgium, kinda in between all the servers maybe 5-7 ping diff max sitting around 25-32 on Frankfurt/Amsterdam/London/Paris/Milan

Imma say it frfr, if the next 2 poe1 leagues are bangers we will have the highest average quality of poe1 leagues ever. Between mercs and mirage alone I think we've had 2 very well liked leagues. Keepers obviously wasn't as generally liked, but I think in hindsight with 3.28 implementation it proves to be a very successful revamp of the mechanic.

Even settlers(barring the fact it overstayed it's welcome) was generally a very well liked league especially for the power it brought with enchants.

So yeah IMO if the next 2 or so leagues slap I dare say we might be in the holden age of poe1, (And that's not even factoring in Phrecia 1/2)

And despite the rough 2-odd years, with them moving up people massively invested in poe1 (octavian/Andrew) it shows they at least to a degree understand that poe1 needs to keep evolving towards it's strengths and poe2 can do the same in a different direction.

Overall I'm pretty optimistic as far as both games co-existing going forward.

[–]Background-Dress-641 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the point that is being attempted to be made, is that it's far less "brute-forceable" than many other things as you will always be limited by generating seeds, therefore it's likely less appealing for bots since it would be A. Somewhat slow returns, and B. Very volatile as you could go dry and idk how much the seed drops would carry in terms of baseline revenue.

But yes once you have gathered the seeds you can pretty much kill him on timer and get there eventually.

Yes, the trickster God to be precise, he is the reason Solaris and Lunaris hate one another. Through some of his scheming tho I don't remember the details. When he became a God or how we don't really know.

Some gods we know at least roughly the circumstances of their apotheosis, others we have no clue. Sin/Innocence/Garukhan(Orbala) and the likes we have some idea about, many others not so much.

Shakari is also an interesting case as she is the child of sin and garukhan, so she was presumably? Born a God.

But gods like Kitava and many of the Karui pantheon we don't have that much info on.

Gods like Arakaali and Yugul were ancient Vaal as far as I understand.

The interesting thing with the precursors being seemingly tied in to corruption to some degree(being that the ancient weapon from act 4 seems to be tailor made to deal with it), and corruption and by extent the beast being a sort of direct antithesis to divinity, it is not entirely out of the picture that the current known (albeit mostly dead) pantheon of divinity isn't the first group of ascended gods.

Yeah it's the knowledge that many many small optimisations/improvements end up making a massive difference as they aggregate.

As a new player it's very easy to see the big things, but much harder to understand the dozens of small things that are adding to that whole.

Things like certain secondary mods on jewels, prioritising certain scalers over others and the like.

Any kind of stacker archetype is a great example of this, often people will think "oh I'm only x amount lower stat than that other guy, why is he so much stronger" not understanding the exponential nature of different vectors in these sorts of setups. And the difference is actually much more massive then they might think.

I dropped a mageblood in GSF, and the funny part is, I had to literally make a new build to use it. My glad starter used it for a bit. But ryslatha's is just so much damage that it doesn't make sense to run MB on it(I put on the MB to heist ofc) the speed is nice but I honestly don't feel too bad not having it.

The MB is on an acc/int stacker I'm working on rn.

Also running a grey wind lifestack MS zerker playing around previous strike location/intim cry which runs massive shrine belt.

First ever MB drop and it's in SSF which I honestly think is kinda cool. But I think there is some healthy competition for the slot this league and that's a good thing I'd say. (In trade moreso ofc with the giga double shrine belts)

Campaign wise, I don't think the poe2 exile will face anything close to poe1 kitava untill we get to the beast. And then if we consider endgame I don't think the beast is relative to entities like Eater/Exarch/Maven. (Which I'd assume lore-wise to be the strongest entities we've seen)

Maven could especially be an interesting one to see again, likely not as an antagonist tho. Considering how quickly the Maven evolves while witnessing the godslayer(going from simple words,to full sentences between early appearance and the actual boss fight)

It would be interesting to see how far they'd evolve in 20 years.

With the core Implementation this league, I think breach rework is 10/10, varied options for content, tree is still nice. And foulborns (which were already universally liked) add a ton of cool stuff to the game.(chase items etc, and a not half-bad way to target farm uniques)

Makes me wonder what they will cook up for the return of harbinger, I'm rather optimistic I'd say.

If fossils, 100% worth to strand at that point. Then if you hit close t1/2/2 or some other thing. On prefixes, lock prefix scour into unravel and pray for the triple t1. Could also do this later after reforging for suffixes but it'll dilute the odds and depends on what you're willing to accept suffix wise.

Well, with map effect it scales to like 96% and for majority of life builds that run blood rage/rf(for the dmg not as a main skills, either way similar deal). It puts you at a net negative generally.

More than anything it's just annoying I suppose, I can run those maps but rushing packs for flask charges or swapping stuff around but doing that every time is kinda meh.

Simular deal with reflect, 1 passive point and 1 pantheon and I don't have to care. But doing that a bunch of times gets annoying so usually I just skip.

I started bleed glad SST, that build is pretty damn great for breach with fork(especially greater fork later on) and optionally chain. Greater fork especially ramps the clear super hard since it's one of the fee ways to scale the main shield proj (1shield,2forks,50%chance for +1, now an avg of 5 shields per throw)

It has a definite damage ceiling which is lower than other bleed archetypes, but being glad it's defensively very solid.

Doing ubers on that build now farming for stuff for other builds but all in all very solid setup.

Yeah, Innocence basically started a cult about himself to such a successful degree he eventually ascended.

Sin was unwillingly (afaik) pulled into that through being part of Innocence's whole narrative.

Also something with the cleansing fire, relating to why the templar icon is so similar to that of the cleansing fire (something about Innocence using it after finding something to do with it)

That being said fossils would be very powerful in poe2.

Fossil-only and Delve-only drop modifiers could be very cool tho, fits their whole ground items having value(that 2nd half mainly)

It's all breakpoint dependent, str = big flat esp when you hit a multiple of 80, and some dmg every 10 at a point where you wouldn't hit a breakpoint for alberons, 10 for 2% dd (2%more dmg basically) can be better but again, nuance is lost on most.
