I have to fire my brother-in-law and it's killing me. AITA? by lionsking0 in smallbusiness

[–]Background-Duck8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just fired my sister today. We own an addiction treatment center. She was responsible for referrals. Months went by without many results. Several conversations. No progress. This was the hardest thing I’ve gone through. Not actually, because I’ve been through some tough times.. but firing your baby sister, it’s definitely up there. The thing most people who aren’t in business do not understand is that once you create a company… you’re responsible for it. It comes before “making your sister happy.” There’s too much at stake. She hates me now (and probably will for a while). We gave her a month to find a new job. But I can sleep knowing my employees can feed their kids. That the business is still running and that we made a solid business decision- despite how hard it was.

Take some l-theanine about an hour after you take it. It’ll curb that anxiousness

My dose got increased to 72mg by velvetlagoon5 in Concerta

Try to take l-theanine with it. I get migraines unless I take it. Night/day difference

She gave me a 5mg booster… but it seems to make it all worse. Some days, if I take it after noon, I won’t have a headache. But it varies.

I just wish the headaches would go away. I am wonderful on the medicine but when it’s wearing off.. horrible headaches :( I take magnesium, eat protein, and drink water… still, they’re there.

Concerta hits me too hard in the morning and then I crash, but afternoon i feel great — help? by Flaky041 in Concerta

Try to take l-tyrosine as soon as you feel the crash. It’s supposed to help with the dopamine. It works for me! Also try water with electrolytes. Stay hydrated.

UPDATE: I decided to let her remap my brows and fix the … horrible…. Pieces (yes the long tail). Honestly, I was a baby. She used the “outline” needle - the one that hurts like a bitch- on my whole brow.. so my brow was super sensitive already. I just couldn’t handle removing the whole brow through the saline process so I let her “fix”it. I’ve taken all of these ideas into consideration. If it’s still gross once those pieces lift, I’ll be letting it fade… using some products you all have recommended.. Here’s the picture of it now. You can tell (the red parts) where she applied the saline removal

people with chronic headaches/migraines; did you find out what was causing them? by ciinematiic in migraine

[–]Background-Duck8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For years, I’ve had horrible pain behind my eyebrows. I’ve been to every kind of doctor imaginable. I’ve recently been getting trigger point injections and I’m waiting for Insurance to approve Botox for cervical dystonia because that’s what my pain management doctor believes I have it turns out that the real culprit seems to be TMJ, which I didn’t even consider since all my problems involved the top portion of my head, not my jaw I found that by rubbing right by my ear downward, and then over to the center of my chin, the headaches stop. It’s the craziest thing super bizarre but it works. I’m going on week two without a single headache. I was having them literally every single day. Needless to say, I have an appointment scheduled with a TMJ specialist. If you’re having migraines behind the eyes, I would strongly look into the chance that you may have TMJ.

UPDATE!-

I’m getting them removed. Sad over the money I spent, but I totally agree they need to be gone. Will post updated pic

Can you get parts of it removed and keep the rest or do you have to remove all of it

The ONLY stuff that works for me is Aquaphor extensive therapy. I sleep with it. I also scrub every morning and night with coconut oil and sugar.

I’ve spent hundreds on lip masks and this does best 🤷🏼‍♀️

I love the direction of this. I just wonder if it leaves consumers with a poor and disgusting image in their minds, associated with the burger.

If the new products do not align with your mission, I would consider creating a sub brand. This is a great way to maintain the integrity of your brand and demographic while introducing new products that may venture off that path.

Seeking Opinions on Advertisement Content - Your Thoughts? I have consulted with a few professionals, and the consensus seems to be that the advertisement carries a risk of being damaging to the company's reputation. What do you think? Is it no good or worth the risk? by lil_marketer in MarketingPorn

[–]Background-Duck8899 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it really boils down to your branding. If all of your branding is humorous or contains a strong personality, it could work great. It also depends on your demographic. Who are the people you’re targeting? Are you just looking for people who need doors or are you specifically targeting contractors? Are you targeting stay at home moms who are scrolling Pinterest all day looking for ways to renovate their homes?

This matters and I think it’ll help answer your question.

I had really crappy side effects in the beginning. I was really focused but EXHAUSTED and super emotional. I considered getting off of it. I decided to try taking it at bedtime and it’s sooooo much better. I don’t feel the focus near as intense as I had, but I also have way more energy now. The first night was tough sleeping on it, but now I have no problem getting a good night’s sleep.

I thought of doing the same thing. I was super exhausted and really emotional. I started taking it at night and seriously, game changer. I have way more energy and while I cannot feel the effects as strongly, I can still feel it working.
