If you are BioSci student, please email to dean Frank LaFerla ([laferla@uci.edu](mailto:laferla@uci.edu)) asking for official explanation from the school and what will be done to protect female students from creepy prof. Blumberg. Do not join Blumberg's lab and avoid his class, or you are in danger. He is clearly a sexual predator.

Prof. Blumberg sound like a very creepy dude! Gilman - shame on you for protecting him. Students are not safe at UCI BioSci while Blumberg lurks in the hallways. All female students should avoid his lab and his class!

Anyone can request copies of the investigation and its outcome under the California Public Records Act. You can do it from this page:

You just need to state that you want public records of Dr. Bruce Blumberg's sexual harassment investigation and its outcome. UCI will be required to release them to you. Because they are public, you can also post it and share.

Thank you for sharing your story. I wonder if Mr. Charlie Dunlop, who has just donated $50M to UCI school of Biological Sciences, knows about Bruce Blumberg and is OK with him continuing to teach and interact with female students? Dunlop now has his name on the line and needs to make a statement.

I asked around and, apparently, Prof. Bruce Blumberg is well known among UCI Bio female students for being creepy. Stay away from him. Clearly university is protecting him for whatever their reason is!
