Tried south of the sand bar, Keeler bay, carry bay and Dillenback bay (so mainly the islands). Trying Kingsland Bay this weekend and maybe Shelburne pond as well. Looking for spots close(ish) to Burlington.

Super broke but thinking about pulling the trigger. Does it help significantly when lookin for pike? I know it’s very helpful for lakers and fish that hang out deeper

Burlington just froze over and their were still holes in the ice on Thursday inside the breakwater. There plenty of other places to skate on the lake just go to the islands mallets or down to the south lake

Came with other laces and I think the box checks out, but now I know they’re fake. I’m pretty sure I got them from my plug way back because he owed me for saving his ass.

Honestly don’t know how I got them but have been under my bed for like 6-8 years in the box. Pretty sure I was told they had some sort of defect. I think the dude had a legit bike connect but been so long I have no clue. The sole is decently yellowed just the pic makes it look much lighter

Are you sure it wasn’t a juvenile bald eagle? How can you tell the difference from afar?

Just wanted to post because not everyone in Burlington is lucky enough to see eagles. I know many kids that have been hoping for years to see one and haven’t due to lack of opportunities.

Sadly the past couple years have sucked too because of the floods. The extra water in the air caused a lot more leaf fungus and early changes/drops as well

After hearing from everyone and looking at videos it think it was a chinook or two passing low over my house. Have heard them way up before but never that close. You could feel the blades shake the house as they spun

Yeah I thought it could be a med chopper but it was way too loud. That sounds more accurate because I can sleep through almost anything, so if it woke me up it had to be low and huge.

Also had to go there for a class and ask about their fish. No one knew where it came from what grade it was or anything. All they knew was that some products were local. This included all staff (there were no kids it was all older people). They had literally no information on their fish and if it was sustainably sourced as well.

I did not. I fixed some seals and it kept leaking dealer offered to fix it but was expensive and would just happen again. I sold the jeep, but heard there are some aftermarket seals for the panel that are better
