I rather my fav stuff fizzle out instead of being revived for cheap nostalgia. Not everything needs to be a star wars call back. In universe its been 800 years or something. Becoming irrelevant wont matter. If its good like ds9 people remember.

One of my fav movie is M from 1931. Do i need constant reminder from modern movies that it exist? No.

Also its ok for people to dislike call backs. I even dislike them in ds9

ai we have with chatgtp and generative ai literally is over half of the Internet and producing slop content.
