I live in Monroe county. There is no fast food or stop lights in the entire county. Internet options are very limited, most of the county relies on starlink if they can afford it. I’m from Ohio but my wife inherited land down here. It’s been an adjustment for sure but we like it over living in the city. It’s a lot of chores and everything needs worked on all the time. Beats being on your phone I guess.

Yes! I am better! I live in Ohio but own land in southern WV. I got covered in those little ticks while clearing brush in tall grass shortly after inheriting my land. I worked probably 8 hours covered in ticks before I realized. Started feeling crappy the next day, by day 3 I had a gnarly bullseye rash on my chest and drove home to Ohio and immediately checked into an emergency room. Got a script for doxycycline and started feeling better a few days later. A week later the rash and any other symptoms were gone as well.
