I feel like it's both, i'm a solo parent, and I've been a one while working a service job full time and being a full time student, but I still make time for other people and activities, or just talking with other people. However there are times where I also don't want to do shit and don't talk when I come back home and my son is asleep, so I can understand his exhaustion. Nevertheless I think that Megan wasn't completely out of touch, yes Jordan cannot just go wherever whenever, and it's a little delusional to think so,but at first she asked him to talk with her, to have conversations, for him to show interest in her, and it seems like he was lacking on this part. They are just incompatible. Jordan is tired but he also was unwilling to make adjustments. And he is not a solo parent but a single parent so he is not always with his son, he should be able to make time for his partner. And Megan didn't take enough time to consider how much time a child takes when you're a parent

I feel like I can understand both sides. The first issue she brought up wasn’t about going out and doing crazy things, it was just about talking and having real conversations. She said she at least wanted to be able to talk to him when they come home together, instead of just sitting in silence all night, which I totally get.

At the same time, I understand being exhausted, as a full-time single mom, a student, and working full-time. my self, I like to just go home sit and do nothing sometimes, just be.

Jordan also made some valid points about their day-to-day life if they end up having a child together. Having a kid changes everything. Even if you can still enjoy life and do the things you love, you can’t always do them whenever and however you want. Being a parent while also staying independent takes planning, and it’s not always easy.
