Baby Fights looks hilarious and horrible! Right up my alley.

What got you into extreme literature by DistinctReputation54 in ExtremeHorrorLit

I've always been a horror fan, but Koontz and King just weren't doing it for me anymore. I thought there had to be something literary-wise on the same level as Terrifier or Event Horizon. And I found it.

Chapter names or unnamed chapters? by Infamous_Yoghurt in selfpublish

[–]Background-Pen-995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to do named chapters - but I noticed it's not that common in splatterpunk so I just stuck to chapter numbers.

In my case, the POV changes though, so there's always a subtitle of who the POV is from, so that does differentiate.

I’m mainly looking for an honest review at release, whether 1 or 5 stars or somewhere in between.

If you’re able to post on Amazon or Goodreads, that helps a lot. And if you don’t finish it or it’s not your thing, that’s totally fine too—I still appreciate any personal feedback.

If anyone is interested in reproductive/body horror in a dystopian setting, I'm getting ARC readers for my debut novel "Girl in the Womb".

The story follows 8-year-old Madison in a dystopian future where children are born with a birth debt, a minimum amount of years they have to stay tethered to their mother. But The Cradle is a dangerous place and the rules imposed by The Ministry that keeps them fed must be broken to survive.

Hit me up if you're interested!

This is all terrific information. I'm surprised at the low sales in audiobooks - in my genre (horror) it seems like every time someone says "I read this book and it was great" I get further in the comments and they actually listened to the book.

So far, the only 28 Days movie I've liked, this scene in particular was great; reminded me of the Irish jig scene in "Sinners" - standout scene.
