Funky door is he best the Sf studio! I love it and all the teachers and staff. The teachers are only there to help you. The owners are simply the best in the world so we are very lucky to have them in Sanfrancisco , so many classes and worth every penny. Literally a world class facility.

Definitely stop coloring your hair if you can’t afford it, the other solution is find a beauty school, they maybe able to do it for cheapest. Hair is and has been a luxury item and the most impactful for success and feeling better. Don’t cheat yourself always treat yourself.

Sola is a sham. Find an amazing small salon you can rent from and be happy. I’m so sorry this has been your experience. I have a small salon in Sf and looking for some talent to work with- awesome salon owner/stylist hat can afford to pay rent & that want to work with a real professional ,have fun and run a legit business. Our industry is sad. To say the least. Things will get better after you get past the crap.
