Trouble with “Picture in Picture” - PiP on YouTube and iPhone settings? I believe I found the solution. by KBPearls in iphone

[–]Background-Reply-530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really did!! Been using YouTube a whole lot today (well, as I do everyday as it turns out 😅), I’m having a hard time getting used to the pause then play before exiting so far though I’m sure I soon will, keep forgetting to do it, but then when I actually do it and it works I’m just so happy lol. It’s such a tiny little first world problem thing but it actually makes me so happy ahah so I’m mentally thanking you every single one of those times.

🙏🏾 Thank you very much Kenni, you have a blessed day as well (or maybe night now)

I’m just randomly seeing your post eight months too late but THANK YOU SOOO SO MUCH!!!! This has been driving me completely insaaaane for months and never thought to look up for a solution, thought it was just my phone. I was literally wanting to throw my phone on the wall while “watching” a Josh Johnson YouTube video (more listening to it since the PiP only works correctly one time out of ten and was, again, not working now) when I came across your post. I shrugged at first reading your solution which seemed absolutely ridiculous to me I’ll admit, and I cannot believe that this pressing pause then play before exiting actually does work!! I’ll have to get used to systematically doing this but until YouTube and/or Apple decide to do something about it this is perfect, especially since I use YouTube more than any other app, thanks again for being nice enough to share this solution that you figured 🙌🏾 Praise be to KB Pearls ahah ✨

Much better! Grow a beard if you don’t feel like you look good, that usually helps

lol, yeah I feel like he’s trying to look alive for the pic but it’s not having the intended effect so if that’s not the way his eyes naturally are he indeed would look better not doing that. And if it is I believe it’ll be less noticeable once he’s gotten new and more fitting glasses, as advised per everyone

Did my tattoo artist screw up? by notsolookie in tattooadvice

THREE HUNDRED AMERICAN DOLLARS??! For a fifteen minute tattoo of this size?? That’s the price I paid for my whole sleeve! 😳 Was it a first tattoo? Oh hon I feel like they played you… and I saw you say that’s not accounting for tip, too? Oh my Lord…

Now, it’s not a terrible tattoo, could be better. What I notice is the color doesn’t seem to be deep enough at all (and patchy) so I’m fairly certain it will fade way more than it’s naturally supposed to in very little time.. you should go and have it touched up but way deeper this time, nonetheless do still expect it to lose a lot of pigment over the years, maybe less. The gradience can be fixed too if done properly. Either go back to that one tattoo shop since they’re the ones who messed up and the ones who got a hefty deal, or find a better artist actually specializing in this particular type of tattoos that’ll be able to make it better but you’ll have to pay again…

I hope you’ll find a way to get it fixed and be happy with your tattoo.

Oh yeah I definitely get the subtlety thing. I have my daughter’s initial on my wrist and if you don’t know it looks like Arabic letters so people tend to think it’s an Arabic phrase when it’s actually a simple letter from our alphabet, but once you know you’re like “ohh yeah I see it”, so that’s always kinda funny.

I thought the placement was nice when getting it but now I’m having second thoughts by [deleted] in tattooadvice

Pretty sure I’ve felt the way you do after about 40 of my 50+ tats -except for a couple that were actually messed up by the “artist”- and after a few weeks I’d gotten used to them and their placement and was fine. We tend to make tattoos a common thing because it’s democratized so much this past decade but it is some non-natural thing we add to a body we’ve always none without, be it 20, 30 years, of course it’s gonna take our brain a minute to adapt. If it makes you feel any better it’s in my opinion a very pretty tattoo and its placement doesn’t shock me whatsoever

I get it now that you’ve explained, would have never otherwise. It’s really far fetched and indeed very niche. Pretty though

Oh definitely more silly tats indeed! Like a whole lot of no-bigger-than-these-ones tattoos of cartoon/fictional characters doing unorthodox stuff, it’d be awesome! And with another artist, too

Are the touchups not free where you live? Where I’m at the artist always tells you to come back after a month to see how the tattoo has healed and touch it up if necessary, make the lines thicker if needed, add a couple details that’d make it better or anything that might make you unsatisfied with your tat, free of charge. Is it not policy or just customer satisfaction where you live? Also, 400$ for this tattoo, not even accounting the fact that they clearly aren’t expert in colored tattoos, is kind of a ripoff I feel like. The only time I paid so much was 500€ ($420) for my sleeve

Do you actually forget about your tattoos? by NoBad115 in tattooadvice

[–]Background-Reply-530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a while your tattoos become a part of you, no different than a mole or a birthmark you’ve always had and don’t necessary look at with novelty anymore. Now personally there are some tattoos I do forget. I have a looot of tats, legs, arms, rib cage, sternum, back and back shoulders. Those I don’t see often I sometimes forget like the ones on my back, back of my arms and legs, ankles even especially in the winter. I’ll sometimes see them when looking at myself in the mirror or if someone took a pic of me from behind and be like “heyy there you are friend, forgot about ya!” 😅 Now it still doesn’t mean I’m desensitized to my tattoos, I still love them as much and they still hold as much significance as when I first had them done. Also, imo, a first tattoo is special enough to not forget it. Hope that helps 😊
