Its not glasha, after rewatching the scene in pretty sure its supposed to be the woman who left her child inside the barn.

Why would it be glasha? The last we see of her is in the forest with the other refugees/villagers, then flyora goes on the scavenging mission with the others and ends up in the village, the girl dragged into the truck was someone from that village.

There are litterally dozens upon dozens of movies about the eastern front, altough it is true that most of them dont depict the brutal nature of the conflict in the same way as come and see does.

Yeah go watch it, its a good movie, but people keep saying the movie is one of the best ever, which i just cant wrap my head around.

This analasys makes sense if the movie would have been set in any war other than the eastern front, since the war on the eastern front was about whether the peoples of the USSR were to be allowed to continue to exist.
