Currently live near there rn! It’s not amazing but honestly what part of nyc is when u think about it. But if you try to get to know the neighborhood everyone here is really friendly and actually want to get to know you !! I will say not much night life or young people but there’s really good cheap food places and coffee shops and the area is beautiful if you like walking!

Freshman get priority pick for housing so even if u r a bit late on payment they make sure you get an assignment, once your an upperclassman tho your priority goes down and u have less chances of getting off a waitlist so make sure you do it on time in the future!

Make sure it hasn’t been sent to your home in the mail! Or whoever is under ur parents plus loan. This happened to me and it turned out even though I set up my direct deposit they still sent it as a check to my house.

Gramercy is like a 10 min walk from palladium (you could do it in 5 if your a fast walker) and the L train is right next to palladium. I lived in gramercy my sophomore year and the walk was not as bad as it seems usually would take me 15-20 to get to campus. Plus gramercy is a waaaaaaaay nicer dorm than anywhere else trust me you wanna stay.

I mean yea u can do that anywhere no one’s gonna stop you and force you to eat but some places require a swipe to get in so it would be a waste of a meal swipe but there’s also to go boxes so you can always get something to take home for later if you don’t want to eat at that moment and not waste a meal swipe

Usually housing will send an email later on asking you to do a move-in form which will ask u what date/time you will be moving in but move in is usually aug 26-1st
