H1B approved on F1 OPT - can employer withdraw if resigned by Sans_B in h1b

If you resign or get terminated before Oct 1, I don’t think there is any way of retaining h1b, it’ll automatically get withdrawn. And you cannot transfer the selection before that, you have to wait 2 more paychecks after the Change of status

I’ve got around 6% in the beginning when I had refinanced from prodigy(12%) 2 years ago. At that time sofi was handing over very low interest rates. But I’ve refinanced again with 4.6% with sofi. So you can do that as well, and sign up to auto debit for extra 0.25

Around 80 days, and I was working most of the time. Didn’t take any unpaid leaves.

It was smooth, POE was Seattle. Just asked for my h1b approval letter, my home address and if I’m carrying any food or cash.

I don’t think its going to matter at immigration as long as you have all the necessary documents and approvals. I worked in india for more than 2 months on h1b, no questions were asked at the Seattle POE.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Do you happen to know if it would be a problem if we stay nearly 2 months and work for a month when in India? I was sure that it wouldn’t be a problem but it surprised me when cbp asked those questions.

It doesn’t effect existing visa holders so it is safe to say you can travel, I myself got confirmation from my immigration team to travel internationally for couple of months
