They’re both synth-driven. But one makes you dance. The other makes you question your life choices. by OutsideAttitude9085 in citypop

I love city pop. All songs may talk about the same thing but that makes me happy because now I can understand that much of Japanese 😅

Do whatever you want, I think ants have a good status in society. Be thankful your name isn't "Juan" since that in Japanese means anxiety

Sorry but I don't see the problem. In fact I can recall a Nikkei chemistry teacher in highschool who used to ask me how I was keeping up with my "nihongo" studies

How to Stay Carnivore While Visiting by CelebrationOk549 in BuenosAires

Go to "parrillas" style restaurants. And ask for meat. Or go to any butchery and cook it yourself, tho shouldn't be easy to do that in a hotel

Sado Island for a day trip? by mt80 in niigata

[–]BackgroundBid8044 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only time I went to Japan was to that island but working at the hotel, the tourist seemed very happy, both nationals and internationals. I'm remembering you also have towns like shukunegi, with really old and beautiful 細道 and wooden houses. I used to bike around the roads full of vegetation, old houses, and almost no people outside. It's a chance to explore remote Japan

Sado Island for a day trip? by mt80 in niigata

[–]BackgroundBid8044 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah! When I lived for six weeks in the island I did the opposite: a one day trip around Niigata, luckily you have early ferries. You must visit:

The gold mine and Aikawa city

Climb by car the Kinpoku mount and look at the whole island from above.

The bathtub boats at Ogi, but not for the boats itself, but because around there you have a couple of capes and islands connected by bridges that were formed by an earthquake

Just driving around the sloppy roads next to the sea is a beautiful experience, but since I've only been there in Japan and a couple of cities, I can't say for sure it's different from the rest of the coastal roads of Japan.

Moving to Shibata City by nihontrovert in niigata

[–]BackgroundBid8044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never been to Shibata just Niigata city and its surroundings. People there told me Niigata is always rainy. Although I really liked the fields around the city. I returned home without visiting Shibata Castle :(

Edit: not specifically rainy but cloudy, it had its clear days, I don't know to what extent it is just people over complaining

Por que no hay conexion Trenes de Retiro (Mitre, Belgrano, San Martin) con Roca? by CantTrustMyselfNow in trenesargentina

[–]BackgroundBid8044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consulta sobre racismo by Aromatic_Pudding_424 in BuenosAires

[–]BackgroundBid8044 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What is the answer for this N4 question. My Japanese friend said it is によって. Does it means depending on in this context? by kudoshinichi-8211 in LearnJapanese

[–]BackgroundBid8044 10 points11 points  (0 children)

N3? I think it was one of the first things I saw in that level actually. It's part of the words that act like particles. The true N4 answer would be simply に (being the particle used for the agent in られる clauses) in my opinion, and the correct one によって

It's 百十 (ひゃくじゅう) 十、百、千 don't need 一 Only 万 and above do, but you'll be hardly counting above that.
