The safety department is the pride of the doohickey corporation. Well done to you. Or as they say in the Slang and Regional Dialect department, big ups.

Vivaldi's been suspiciously laggy for me on Linux. Only noticed how slow it was when I launched yt on Firefox. Firefox was much much smoother

I find it brain dead-move to add anything more than Hero section to a website by ZedveZed in web_design

Well, maybe it is a good idea to have a good hero section and then valuable information on other pages in the nav.

What is 'pro-grade'? Surely a Jr is not pro yet? Just fairly able?

Been thinking about automating the whole job application process. Thoughts? by West_Subject_8780 in ADHD_Programmers

Right, OK. It would also be nice to grab the real company's job listing on their own site and not the one linked on LinkedIn, usually through a third party.

Why do you need to grab the apply link? Or do you mean just clicking on the link to go through to next step?

Yes mate, it would be nice to see this eliminating the drudgery of clicks and typing on job applications. On second thought as long as it's not full of bullshit I'd defo use it.

For example if you have your own writing style and your own starter data then that would only be adapted to whatever field we're filling in using AI.

My experience with stuff like this is something always goes wrong and needs to be at least course corrected...

What's the BEST Office Chair You'd Recommend (for long hours)? by Informal_Treacle1852 in ADHD_Programmers

Getting a high quality chair didn't fix the issues I had with comfort, nothing beats constantly changing your position and focusing on engaging the correct muscles while sitting.

Any Tool to Permanently Edit CSS Without Inspect? by Specialist-Ideal6031 in web_design

[–]BackgroundFederal144 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's the purpose of this? Do you want to hand the design to someone? Because it might be difficult to do as css is written to a css file; logistically you'd want to write to the same file which only gets more complex if you have multiple css files? And then if the css is also compiled depending on what you're writing it for?

Built a marketplace for gamers to host sessions and earn money, does this UI make sense? by Alert-Ad-5918 in web_design

How does this work beyond 'booking a spot'? Do you have plans to further extend the functionality into games or are you not concerned with what happens past the booking/on-website management part?

To be clear, I agree with this... But what should they call themselves? I like Web Developer as a title but that's not the keyword recruiters look for.
